This elderly dog doesn't doesn't have the stamina he used to have, but he still wants to play with his owners and lets them dress him up.
His human parents caught this adorable picture of him dressed as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and it looks like he's taking his role as a wise old Jedi very seriously.
#14. An Adorable Duo
One of the best things in the world is seeing dogs and babies together, and if you add adorable costumes to the mix, it just gets ten times better.
Here we have a little baby dressed as Chewbacca and his furry friend dressed as Yoda. Chewie and Yoda actually don't interact in the original movies, but these two look like they were destined to be best friends.

These two dogs don't seem too happy about wearing costumes and getting photographed, but we all must make sacrifices for the people we love.
The first dog is dressed as Darth Vader and the second one as Yoda. Their costumes were based only on the color of their fur and not their character because we are sure they are both good boys.

Out of all the Star Wars characters you can dress your dog as, an Ewok is definitely the best one, simply because, well... they kind of look like dogs.
All this scruffy dog needed was the typical Ewok costume and he was ready to take over the internet. He doesn't look very happy though, because he probably wanted to be Luke.

We have no words for this amazing homemade costume of an AT-AT. The All Terrain Walkers are huge fighting vehicles used by the bad guys.
These machines also happen to look exactly like Greyhounds. This dog is totally rocking the look, although he doesn't seem very comfortable.

If there was ever a dog that was born to play Chewbacca, this is it. This doggie already had the right hair type and color to embody this character, so it didn't take much more to complete the look.
All his owner did was combing his hair back and adding the famous strap that Chewie always wears and boom - there's Chewbacca!

Darth Vader is one of the most powerful dark forces in all the galaxy. He knows nothing other than evil, and he is capable of scaring even the bravest people just with his voice.
Therefore, we are not sure this adorable little Pug is the right fit to be such a character because he looks even more adorable with this costume.

There are many iconic duos in the Star Wars universe, but the friendship between Han Solo and Chewbacca is many people's favorite.
These adorable best friends are dressed like them and they are just the cutest pair ever! The doggy looks so happy to be dressing up with his BFF.

Pet owners know this story very well: pet goes to the vet, gets a cone put on, and completely hates it. Well, these owners tried to make the situation a little better with this amazing design.
The creative owners of this dog drew a Death Star on it and it looks amazing. The dog doesn't look amused though, maybe because he knows what happened to the Death Star in the movie...

OK, this costume is not as elaborate or creative as the other ones on this list, but as long as the pet is having fun, the costume doesn't matter.
This adorable ball of white fluff is wearing a cute R2-D2 sweater and seems to be enjoying it. Not many dogs like to wear clothes, but this one probably just loves Star Wars.

You may have been wondering where all the cats were but don't worry, we are just getting started. Our first cat is this lovely lady dressed as one of the best female characters in the franchise.
The kitty is dressed as Rey, the lead of the newest movies. Her outfit is completely on point, and she is just missing Rey's iconic braided hair.
#5. Princess Kitty
Since we mentioned Rey, it only makes sense that we feature a cat dressed as Princess Leia. Leia is arguably one of the most recognizable figures in the movies, and anyone would recognize that hair!
Because this poised and elegant cat is already rocking the legendary hair, she doesn't really need much else. Also, her white fur resembles Leia's signature white dress.
#4. You're My Only Hope
We've seen many great costumes so far, but this one takes it to a whole new level. These dogs not only dressed up as Leia and R2-D2; but they also recreated one of the most memorable scenes in all of the movies.
This scene takes place right at the beginning of the first film, where Leia sends a message through R2-D2 to find help for her planet and says *"You're my only hope."

This doggo in particular is the perfect Jedi that the galaxy needed. All he needs to do is learn how to use the lightsaber.

OK, we already had a cat Leia, but we just couldn't leave this one out. Kittens are already amongst the cutest creatures on Earth, but this one is too much.
The fact that this tiny kitty is wearing a Princess Leia wig is too much for our hearts to bear. She seems a little confused, but absolutely adorable.

There are many amazing characters in the franchise, but it is safe to say that Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia are at the top of the list.
And what better costume for a brother and sister than this? These siblings are totally loving the photoshoot, that's why they're looking straight into the camera.
