112-Year-Old Letter Found Behind A Wall During Renovations

The Hidden Message

When Robert Kanaby was tearing down a wall for renovations, he heard a glass break. Upon closer inspection, he realized there was a message in a bottle right behind the wall. He quickly brought the letter to the University authorities to figure out what it was about.

It turns out that the workers who built the University decided to leave a little message for future generations. The letter said that the wall had been built by William Hanly and James Lennon on July 3, 1907 but not much else. The University tried to find any living relatives of the men but they had no luck.
