A woman from New York lost her mother right at the beginning of her high school years. They were very close and she always felt awful about not having her mom with her. Some time later, she met the love of her life, Alex, and the two got married after school. She always felt sad that her mother never got to meet Alex - or so she thought.
While looking through old pictures of her in her primary school soccer team, she spotted a boy that looked like Alex. It turns out that the two had been in the same soccer team as kids and that Alex had met her parents. Not only that, but according to her dad, Alex was her mother's favorite player. She then knew she had her mother's blessing to be with Alex.
