When Christian and Josie showed up at the party, the authorities said that Josie's dress — that featured two side patches on the waist covered by nude-colored patches — was too inappropriate. They said she could only enter as long as she went to the nearby Walmart and bought herself a belt to cover up the side patches.
Josie's mother, Rebecca Reason, was so infuriated that she demanded an on-camera interview with the school authorities. Superintendent Wayne Cooks declined the interview and insisted that it's logical for Catholic schools to demand their students to meet with certain dressing codes.
