Hoops (Canceled)
Some of the most successful animation shows for adults in recent years were produced by Netflix. Thanks to classics such as Bojack Horseman and Rick and Morty, Netflix has truly dominated the animation world.
In 2020, Netflix released a basketball-themed series called Hoops, but even though it was critically acclaimed, the show was canceled after its first season.
Virgin River (Renewed)
Romance dramas have become somewhat of a trend lately. If that’s your cup of tea, then you should be glad to know that Virgin River has been renewed for another season.

The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance (Canceled)
If you are a sci-fi lover, then you must have passed out from excitement when Netflix announced the release of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. This is the prequel to the 1982 classic film of the same name.
Unfortunately for the movie’s hardcore fans, the TV series didn’t captivate the audience, so Netflix called it off after its first season.
Space Force (Renewed)
Space Force was bound to be a classic. After all, a show poking fun at the foolishness of militarizing space starring Steve Carell and John Malkovich sounds like an instant success.
The series was a hit, so it should come as no surprise that it has been renewed for another season.
Teenage Bounty Hunters (Canceled)
You probably haven’t even heard of 2020’s Teenage Bounty Hunters because the show was canceled just two months after its release.
To Netflix executives’ misfortune, the show failed to captivate the American teenage audience. It is believed that the show had many issues, including its name, and people just weren’t interested in watching it.
Emily In Paris (Renewed)
The 2020 rom-com series Emily in Paris was a whopping success: not only was its first season praised by critics on social media, but it was also nominated for two Golden Globes.
It was pretty much a given that the show would be renewed for a second season. According to the media, production will resume sometime during spring.
White Lines (Canceled)
Set on the magical island of Ibiza, The Spanish-British mystery-thriller White Lines was released just a few weeks after the COVID-19 lockdown began.

The Umbrella Academy (Renewed)
Netflix announced the release of the superhero series The Umbrella Academy back in 2019, and ever since then, it’s all people have been talking about.
The series tells the story of an eccentric, dysfunctional family of superheroes who must save the world from the apocalypse. Considering that its first two seasons were a whopping success, it was obvious that a third season would be in the works.
The Patriot Act with Hasan Minaj (Canceled)
Considering that The Patriot Act is one of the highest-grossing talk shows of this century, it definitely came as a shock when Netflix announced it wouldn’t be renewed for a seventh season.
While most talk shows are all about comedy, Hasan Minaj was brave enough to tackle many more serious issues, such as the opioid crisis.
Narcos (Renewed)
Netflix fans, worry no more: your favorite crime series has just been renewed for yet another season. The thrilling historical drama Narcos has been around for years, and it looks like it will be around for a few more.
However, you should know that the new season will come with several significant changes. For starters, Carlo Bernard will replace Eric Newman as the show’s executive producer.
October Faction (Canceled)
If you love binge-watching supernatural dramas, then you’d better give October Faction a try. However, while the show actually had a decent fan base, Netflix’s executives decided to cancel the show.

The Baby-Sitters Club (Renewed)
If there’s something that Netflix is good at, it’s making terrific TV adaptations of celebrated book series. Obviously, The Baby-Sitters Club is no exception.

AJ And The Queen (Canceled)
If we were to make a list of the most bizarre ideas for a TV series that anyone has ever come up with, I’m pretty sure AJ and the Queen would at least make it to the top five.
The 2020 comedy-drama follows the steps of a traveling drag queen and her 10-year-old sidekick. Despite its creativity, it was canceled right away.
Cobra Kai (Renewed)
Based on the Karate Kid film series, the martial arts comedy-drama Cobra Kai has been one of Netflix’s greatest successes over the past couple of years.
The series was originally produced by YouTube Premium, but it wasn’t long before its rights were purchased by the world’s greatest streaming platform. Only recently, the show was renewed for a fourth season.
Altered Carbon (Canceled)
The American sci-fi hit series Altered Carbon is yet another one of Netflix’s marvelous book adaptations. The show follows the steps of Takeshi Kovacs, a PI in charge of solving a spine-chilling murder.

F Is For Family (Renewed)
If you’re a hardcore fan of adult animated shows, I’ve got good news and bad news. On the bright side, F Is for Family has been renewed for a fifth season.

Away (Canceled)
Although fans were shocked when Netflix announced that Away was getting canceled, there’s actually a logical reason behind such a drastic decision.
Believe it or not, the series cost Netflix a whopping $6 million per episode. Unfortunately, the economic crisis triggered by the pandemic took a toll on expensive projects such as this one.
Dead To Me (Renewed)
Featuring Hollywood stars Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, the comedy-drama Dead to Me follows the lives of two grieving friends who start bonding through therapy.

Crime dramas have definitely become a thing these days, especially ever since Breaking Bad revolutionized the world of TV shows. Ozark is one of those shows that have become extremely successful in recent years.
Ozark is a brooding tale of a financial advisor who gets involved in the drug dealing industry, dragging his family into a life of chaos, violence, and tragedy. Given its 32 Emmy nominations, it was pretty obvious it would be renewed for a fourth season.
You (Renewed)
Speaking of crime dramas, You is one of those shows that keeps you at the edge of your seat the entire night.
The show actually had a pretty rough start, but it took off once Netflix purchased the distribution rights. As of today, a third season is being made.
I Am Not Okay With This (Canceled)
The coming-of-age TV series I Am Not Okay with This actually had a pretty good start, as the first season received critical acclaim. However, everything went downhill once the pandemic started.
Countless shows were canceled as a result of the nationwide economic crisis triggered by the pandemic, and this show was no exception.
The Big Show (Canceled)
Although The Big Show seemed promising, it has sadly been canceled. It was thought that the star power of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would keep it alive, but that wasn’t the case.
The former wrestler starred in his own sitcom, playing a fictionalized version of himself. The series received terrible reviews, and it was canceled after only ten episodes.
The Kominsky Method (Renewed)
The Kominsky Method is a comedy series that focuses on the life of an aging acting coach who had a short-lived career back in the past.

No Good Nick (Canceled)
The comedy-drama series No Good Nick follows the life of a young teenage drifter as she infiltrates a family, pretending to be a distant relative.
Sadly, the first season was destroyed by the critics, resulting in the cancellation of the show. I guess that the topics that the show addressed were just too mature for such a young audience.
The Crown (Renewed)
If historical dramas are your cup of tea, then you definitely should give The Crown a shot. This show has been one of Netflix’s most-watched shows in recent years.
The show follows the lives of the British royal family since the beginning of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. The fourth season has recently been released, and the show has been renewed for two more.
The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina (Canceled)
Supernatural fantasy shows have definitely grown popular these days, especially ever since Riverdale was released. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina had a great start, but it was recently canceled.
Even though the first two seasons were a massive success, the third one was destroyed by the critics. This may be the reason why the show got canceled, with the fourth season being the show’s last.
