#30. The Hitchhiker
A long time ago, in the '70s, a group of friends decided to go on a camping trip over the long weekend. They hopped in their car early in the morning and started their journey. During their drive, they spotted a hitchhiker on the road and picked him up.
They drove with him for a while, dropped him off, and continued on their way. Once they were at the campsite, one of the friends found a note in her bag left there by the hitchhiker. It read: "I could have made all of you disappear forever." Needless to say, they didn't sleep that night.
#29. The Distant Uncle
Two friends were hitchhiking in Australia. One of them realized that they were near the house of a distant uncle of his and asked him if they could stay at his place for a night. When they got to his house, which was right next to a road where many people hitchhiked, they noticed that he had a closet totally full of sleeping bags but didn't think much of it.
A year later, they heard on the news that the uncle had been arrested for picking up hitchhikers and killing them. The friends are sure that those sleeping bags belonged to his victims.
#28. The Backpack
Two young boys were playing in the forest as they usually did, when they decided to go up a steep hill. When they looked down, they spotted something strange at the bottom. Upon closer inspection, they realized it was a backpack. They tried to reach it but couldn't, so they decided to come back the next day.
However, the day after, they heard a chilling story in the news: a backpack containing the remains of a girl had been found in the forest. It looked exactly like the one they had found the day before. The thought of what they would have seen if they had opened the backpack still haunts them to this day.
#27. I Know You're Alone
A young girl lived with three other girls in college. During spring break, she was the only one left in the house. Everything went fine until one night, someone started banging on the door.
She heard a man's voice yelling, "I'm an officer. Open the door!" But she knew it was a lie. She called 911, and as she waited for the police to come, the man said " I know you're alone". When the police came, he ran away and was never found.
#26. A Bad Idea
A man got a sinus infection and was prescribed antibiotics. He took them for a few days, but he decided to stop taking them as soon as he started feeling better. It only took one night for things to fall apart.
The next day, the infection had spread to his skull, which filled up with pus. After three surgeries, he survived. The lesson is: always take your full dose of antibiotics, even if you feel better.
#25. Creepy Grandparents
Two little girls were playing outside their home when an elderly couple approached them. They began questioning one of the girls and asking her to tell them her name.
The girls got a feeling that something was wrong with the elderly couple, so they ran back inside. The following week, they saw a news report that an elderly couple had attacked a local teenage girl. If they hadn't gone back inside, they would've been their victims.
#24. Coincidence?
A girl was told by her mother that the vacant apartment above theirs had previously been occupied by a woman and two children who died in a car accident. To scare her daughter, the mother told her that their ghosts still lived there.
Not long after that, they started hearing strange noises coming from the vacant apartment. It was later discovered that a homeless mother was living there with her two children.
#23. Quick Thinking
A couple was driving on a big road when they spotted a girl in the middle of the road, alone. They thought she might need help, so they pulled over. The man started asking the girl questions, but the woman felt that something was wrong.
She then looked to the side and spotted three men with baseball bats walking towards them, so she quickly took off. It seemed as though the girl was trying to lure them into something unthinkable.
#22. A Close Call
A little girl took swimming lessons in the late afternoon and always hung out her swimsuit to dry in the clothesline in her backyard when it was already dark. One day, a man suddenly jumped over the fence into her backyard and started sprinting towards her.
Luckily, she was quick enough to make it back inside and instinctively lock the back door. The man was never found, and even now that she's an adult, she still sleeps with the light on.
#21. Slenderman?
A man was walking down the street when he spotted the most terrifying thing he ever saw: a faceless man driving. He had absolutely no features on his face, just smooth skin, much like Slenderman.
Of course, nobody ever believed him, but he is convinced that he actually saw it. Whether his eyes fooled him or not, he is still to this day haunted by the image of the faceless man.
#20. The Signs Were There
A man bought a new phone that came with GPS notifications that let him know when he was close to his destination. He thought this feature was annoying, so he turned it off. However, a few weeks later, he kept getting notifications about a specific location, even though this feature was turned off.
Not long after that, he was driving with his family and got into a car accident. Luckily, nobody got hurt, but it was a terrifying situation. It was even more terrifying when he realized where the car accident had happened: at the exact GPS location he had gotten notifications for. Perhaps the universe was trying to warn him...
#19. The Unwanted Guest
A man went downstairs to get a glass of water at 4:00 am when he spotted his roommate in the shadows. He started talking to him but got no response. Then, he realized: it wasn't his roommate. Just then, the shadowy figure disappeared.
He ran back upstairs to check on his roommate, but he was fast asleep. The next day, his roommate told him that he had had a horrible nightmare about a ghost being in the house.
#18. Kids Say The Darndest Things
A woman was woken up by her three-year-old son one night saying that there was a lady in his room. The mom dismissed it and told him to get back to sleep, but the boy insisted on it. Then, she decided to take him back to his room and show him that nobody was there.
The room was completely empty, but the boy kept saying, "There, that's the lady!" and pointing to nothing. The woman could not sleep at all that night, thinking that there was an invisible ghost in her house.
#17. False Memories
Growing up, a girl started remembering things that never happened. Whenever she brought up a story to her parents, they thought she was just imagining things. However, she remembered certain events very clearly: where she was, what she was wearing, etc. Yet, her family always assured her that those things never happened.
Many years later, she spoke of a memory that caught her family's attention, and they started to put the pieces of the puzzles together: she had memories of a cousin of hers that had died before she was born. She now believes she is the reincarnation of her dead cousin.
#16. A Message On The Screen
A man was watching cartoons alone at home late at night as he usually did. Then, all of a sudden, the image flickered, and a message appeared on the TV screen for a split second.
The man swears that he saw the words "I will be back" pop up on the screen, and it still haunts him to this day. Nothing strange ever happened with his TV ever again after that.
#15. Creepy Teacher
A girl decided to give a little present to her favorite teacher when she graduated. He was a very beloved teacher who was always in a good mood and was very kind to everyone. When she gave him the gift, he blurted out: "*I could KISS you!"
Although it seemed like a joke, this left a bad feeling in the girl, and she quickly left his office and never saw him again. Three years later, the teacher was arrested for taking advantage of students.
#14. A Smart Move
After a night of drinking, a girl decided to take a cab home. Everything was going well until she told the cab driver to drop her off at a certain street, which he ignored. He kept on diving and taking weird turns, which made her realize that something was wrong.
Just then, she got an idea. She pretended that she was going to vomit and made the cab driver pull over and unlock the doors so she could throw up. Then, she bolted out of the car and kept running without looking back. Who knows what would have happened if she hadn't been so quick on her feet...
#13. The Car Wreck
A young man and his mother were driving on the road when they spotted an overturned car. They pulled over, and the mother called the police. Meanwhile, the young man walked towards the wreck to see if anyone needed help.
He then saw a very drunk, aggressive man screaming at a woman. Apparently, he had intentionally caused the wreck. He then spotted the young man and started walking towards him, so the young man ran back and got into his car with his mother. They almost got attacked, but the police made it in time.
#12. A Kind Driver
A girl met another girl who seemed really nice and decided to get drinks with her. She didn't drink much, but all of a sudden, she woke up in an Uber. Confused, she asked the driver what was going on, to which he responded that her friend had called the Uber for her to take her home, but it all seemed sketchy.
She luckily was smart enough to ask the driver to what address she was being driven to, and it was an address she didn't know. The driver then called the police, and it was discovered that it was all a human trafficking operation in which girls were drugged and put into Ubers that were sent to a specific address. The driver had nothing to do with it, however.
#11. Horrible Luck
A man came home from work and noticed his wife was gone. He figured that she had gone out to walk the dogs as she usually did, but it was too late, and she still hadn't come back. He then decided to look for her on her usual walk route, which he thought was horrific. However, he never expected what he found there…
He saw a bunch of police cars and a person bleeding on the floor. When he got closer, he saw it was his wife. Apparently, a deranged man had just left a mental hospital and attacked the first person he saw: the man's wife. The worst part of the story is that it was a completely random attack, and the woman was killed all of a sudden for no reason.
#10. Baked To Death
An oven at a big bread factory was apparently broken, so two maintenance men were called to fix the issue. The oven had been turned off for 24 hours, but it seemed to still be hot. The men were reluctant to go inside and fix the issue, but the company insisted.
They went inside the oven to fix it but quickly realized it was too hot for them to stay there. They tried to get out but couldn't, and by the time someone realized something was wrong, it was too late: the men were baked to death inside.
#9. See You Outside
A woman working at a nightclub noticed that a man had slipped his hand into the tip jar and stolen $100 from it. She quickly alerted security, and the man was apprehended.
As he was being dragged out of the club, the man yelled at her, "I'll be waiting for you when you get out!" She was walked to her car by the security guards that night, but the man was nowhere to be seen. She is still afraid that the man will come back for her one day.
#8. Was That A Demon?
A woman stopped at a red light at an intersection when she saw a strange creature driving a car in front of her. The hair in the back of her neck stood up, and she got a knot in her stomach.
For some reason, she believes she saw a demon in that car that day. Perhaps her eyes fooled her, but she still believes she saw a very dangerous creature right in front of her.
#7. Being Followed
A woman was walking home from the train station when she noticed that a man was following her. To make sure that was the case, she took all sorts of turns and detours, but the man was still behind her.
She started walking fast and, instead of going home, she went straight to the nearest police station. Once she was inside, she saw the man walk past and wave at her with a creepy smile on his face.
#6. Almost Kidnapped
A boy was playing at a playground at a fast food joint when all the kids left, and he was suddenly the only one left. He continued playing until he noticed an adult man was suddenly inside.
The man began walking towards him, so he started running and went straight to his mom. When he told his mom what had happened, they called for help, but the man was already gone.
#5. The Hand
A little girl was sleeping when she was awakened by a strange noise. She then saw a hand on her window and immediately screamed.
Her parents assured her that it was a nightmare, and they all went back to sleep. The next morning, however, they found a ladder leaning up against the house right by her bedroom window.
#4. Gone With The Drain
Many years ago, a girl went swimming in a lake with her friends as she usually did. This time, however, things went horribly wrong.
There was a whirlpool at the bottom of the drainage lake, and one of her friends got sucked into it. She and the other friends had to watch helplessly as their friend disappeared underwater. His body was found several days later.
#3. Never Going Back
Two sisters decided to drive to a sushi restaurant to get dinner one night. Just as they pulled over and were ready to get out of the car, a man suddenly appeared in front of them.
The man had a crazy look in his eyes and started licking the windshield. Horrified, the girls quickly backed up and drove off. Needless to say, they never went back to that restaurant.
#2. The Weirdest Compliment
A woman went to the grocery store with her infant son as she usually did. Then, a man in a soldier's outfit walked up to her and started complimenting her baby.
In a very cutesy, soft voice, the man told the baby: "You're so cute, I just wanna gouge your eyes out!" This comment alerted the mother that something was wrong, so she just ran out of the store with her baby.

A group of friends living in a house together started believing they had a ghost. The lights in their backyard kept turning on and off, and they heard weird noises every night. One day, one of the friends even saw the shadow of a man standing outside his window.
