City Hall Renovations Reveal The Original Beauty Of The Building

A Hidden Gem

The City Hall took this pandemic as an opportunity to do some renovations. Since the building was closed, it was the perfect moment to revamp the whole place. The inside wasn't very appealing and there were vinyl floors that had been installed during the '60s.

This was the first thing they wanted to have replaced. When they removed it, they found that under it was a gorgeous tile floor design that was over 100 years old. It has now been restored and it looks lovely. Nobody understands why people in the '60s thought it would be a good idea to just put some ugly vinyl on top of it.
