What Ever Happend To All The Tigers From The G.W. Zoo?

Safe And Sound

Weeks after the G.W. zoo was closed down, 39 tigers and 3 black bears were rescued from the facility and sent to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado. According to the sanctuary's Chief Science Officer, many of these animals were suffering from major orthopedic conditions, so they had to undergo a long and steady healing process.

This sanctuary looks after animals nearly 1,000 animals that have been rescued from illegal trade and they look for a safer place for them once the legal procedures related to their seizure are completed. Luckily, the tigers are now safe and sound, and hopefully they'll be sent to an even larger and more suitable place in the near future.
