A Good Judge
The judge was about to charge a woman $300 for failing to pay a parking ticket when he decided to ask her little daughter a couple of questions. First, he asked her if she thought her mother should pay, to which she said yes. Then, she mentioned that she had had no breakfast and was hungry, which touched the judge's heart.
The woman could not afford breakfast for her children but she was supposed to pay $300 in parking tickets? No way. He then said that as long as her mom bought her breakfast afterward, he wouldn't charge the woman a penny.
