It appears to be that Parton's arms and chest are covered with awesome pastel-colored tattoos, only she never felt like showing it to the public. It was not until one year later that she admitted the truth when interviewed by Larry King. The artist said that since the press tends to make a big deal out of everything, she chose to keep it to herself.
