The Miracle Girl
After the horrific plane crash, Juliane slipped in and out of consciousness for hours. When she woke up, she realized what had happened. She saw the remnants of the plane all around her, but no sign of life. It was then that she decided to seek help.
She wandered for 11 days in the jungle, starving and dehydrated. When she was about to lose hope, three lumberjacks found her and brought her to safety. She had broken a few bones and all her wounds were infected, but she made a full recovery. People have called her "the Miracle Girl".
