Ever Wondered How The World's Deepest Octopus Looks Like?

An Amazing Discovery

During his expedition in the depths of Indonesia's waters, Dr. Jamieson was lucky enough to encounter two rare "Dumbo" octopuses, one of the rarest kinds of octopus out there. They were found 5,760 and 6,957 meters deep respectively, making them the two deepest octopuses ever spotted.

They're called "dumbo" octopuses because they really do bear a resemblance to the famous Disney character. This finding surprised the scientific community, because up until know, nobody knew that octopuses could adapt to such extreme conditions. Cool, right?
