Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie were best friends during their childhood years and they rose to fame after they starred in The Simple Life on Fox. But as soon as fame knocked on their door, they became enemies for life. “It’s no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends,“ Hilton said to the press in 2005. “Nicole knows what she did and that’s all I’m ever going to say about it.”
According to People Magazine, Nicole was jealous of Paris because of the attention she was getting from the media and because she wasn’t invited to some of the events Hilton attended. However, things got pretty ugly when Hilton was invited to Saturday Night Live. Nicole couldn’t stand the fact that they didn’t invite her too, so much so that she screened Hilton’s sex tape in one of her parties. “Paris was very hurt. She loves Nicole, but believes she is owed an apology”, said a friend of Paris.
#23. Sylvester Stallone Vs. Richard Gere
Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere were meant to co-star in the film The Lords of Flatbush, but why wasn’t Gere on the film? That’s because they didn’t get along on set and Gere’s role had to be re-cast. Apparently, they got into a physical fight. “We never hit it off,” said Sylvester. “He would strut around in his oversized motorcycle jacket like he was the baddest knight at the round table“, he added.
But let’s hear Sylvester’s side of the story.
“I was eating a hot dog and Richard climbs in with a half a chicken covered in mustard with grease nearly dripping out of the aluminum wrapper. I said, ‘That thing is going to drip all over the place.’ I said, ‘If it gets on my pants, you’re gonna know about it.’ He proceeds to bite into the chicken and a small, greasy river of mustard lands on my thigh. I elbowed him in the side of the head and basically pushed him out of the car“, the actor said.

It all started in 2004 when businesswoman Martha Stewart publicly criticized Gwyneth Paltrow during an interview. That same year, Paltrow had launched her new lifestyle business, Goop. Martha claimed that if Hollywood star Gwyneth were confident enough in her acting, she wouldn’t “be trying to be Martha Stewart”. OK Martha, why don’t we dial down the narcissism
However, the drama didn’t stop here. A few months later, Martha posted a recipe called “conscious coupling,” which was featured in Living Magazine shortly after Gwyneth filed for divorce from Chris Martin. In revenge, a month later, Gwyneth posted a comparable recipe for “jailbird cake,” probably in reference to the time Stewart served in prison back in 2004 for fraud charges. Come on girls, give it a break already!
#21. Taylor Swift Vs. Kanye West
This epic feud has been going on since Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at MTV’s Video Music Awards in 2009. However, they made up the following year and West even talked about writing a new song with Swift in 2015. “She wants to get in the studio and we’re definitely going to go in,” West told Ryan Seacrest. However, those plans fell after Kanye released his single, Famous.
West song was quite controversial, to say the least, as it says “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b—h famous.” Swift was furious, and she expressed her anger at the 2016 American Music Awards, where she accused West of undermining her success. Months later, Kim Kardashian West posted numerous videos of Swift and West talking about the song where it seems as if she accepted the track’s message.
#20. Lauren Conrad Vs. Heidi Montag
Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag‘s falling-out was documented on the reality show The Hills in 2007. Their relationship hit rock bottom during the second season of the show, when Montag’s husband, Spencer Pratt, spread the rumor that Conrad had made a sex tape with his ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler. However, according to TMZ, both Conrad and Wahler denied the rumors.
The now fashion designer kept her distance from the pair until she left The Hills in 2009. Although Pratt and Montag apologized sometime later, Pratt insisted that his story was true during an interview with Complex in 2015.
“Lauren is a cold-hearted killer. That’s what people don’t get. She will cut you in your sleep. She tried to destroy us. If you want to throw missiles, I’m throwing a nuke. This is how I operate”, Pratt asserted.
#19. Lindsay Lohan Vs. Hilary Duff
Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan‘s feud started over Aaron Carter in 2003. Duff met Carter on the set of her Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire in 2001 and ended up dating him for more than a year. Eventually, Carter left Duff, reportedly out of boredom, and started dating Lohan. They were together for a few months until Carter left her too.
After breaking up with Lindsay, Aaron Carter went back to dating Hilary, and that was the moment when Lohan accused Duff of stealing her boyfriend.
“I’ve never stolen anyone’s boyfriend! I don’t know how you do that! She was talking about it and I wasn’t. It made us both look bad and put up a big weirdness”, Duff told Allure Magazine.
#18. Kim Kardashian West Vs. Chloë Grace Moretz
The feud between Chloë Grace Moretz and Kim Kardashian West began in 2016 after the actress took offense at the nude selfie West posted online.
“There’s a huge difference in respecting the platform that you’re given as a celebrity and ‘slut-shaming,’ something I never have done and — would never do.” Chloe Grace Moretz tweeted.
This is what Kim responded to Chloe’s tweet: “Let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter since no one knows who she is. Your nylon cover is cute boo.” Moretz never replied back because she found the whole feud senseless, but she told Glamour Magazine that she doesn’t regret speaking her mind about the photo, insisting it was something a little inappropriate for young women to see.

Elton John and Madonna have been long-time frenemies, but the strife became more apparent during the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. During a conversation, Carson Daly asked Elton John who he thought had the greatest chance of winning the award for “Best Original Song”. He said that Madonna “didn’t have a “f—-ing chance of winning.” Ouch!
Some minutes earlier, at the backstage of the Golden Globes, the Material Girl said, “I hope he speaks to me for the next couple of years. He’s known to get mad at me…He’ll win another award. I don’t feel bad”.
#16. Katherine Heigl Vs. Shonda Rhimes
The tension between Katherine Heigl and producer Shonda Rhimes came to light after Heigl declined her Emmy nomination she received for her portrayal Izzie Stevens on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy in 2008.
“I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention,” Heigl said when asked about the reason behind her decision.
Grey’s Anatomy creator opened up to Oprah Winfrey about the whole issue, saying that she wasn’t surprised by Heigl’s actions.
“On some level, it stung and on some level, I was not surprised. When people show you who they are, believe them”, Rhimes said.

At the time Johnny Carson announced he was leaving The Tonight Show in 1992, fans thought the reasonable replacement would be David Letterman, who had already hosted Late Night With David Letterman on the same network. But instead, NBC gave the show to Jay Leno, a comedian who had appeared as a guest on Letterman’s show multiple times.
However, the bad blood between these two comedians actually goes way back, since Letterman had once stated that Leno was the most amusing and simultaneously most insecure person he knew. Recently, the two have hinted at a possible cease-fire, but the truth is the two still hate each other’s guts.

During the Miss USA debate in 2006, Donald Trump allowed winner Tara Conner to keep her Miss USA crown as long as she went to rehabilitation for her drug and alcohol abuse problem. Rosie O’Donnell rebuked the decision and called the now-president Donald Trump a “snake-oil salesman.”
A few years later, the business mogul turned president told People that “Rosie’s a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie.” Their feud has not settled yet, considering the two have gone at each other through social media on endless occasions. O’Donnell was also a vocal opponent of Trump during the 2016 election.
#13. Bette Davis Vs. Joan Crawford
Bette Davis and Joan Crawford‘s quarrel reportedly started in 1935 over a man. Davis fell in love with actor Franchot Tone on the set of the movie Dangerous. The newly divorced Crawford was quick to tie Tone down and ended up marrying him.
The dispute intensified when the two co-starred in the 1962 film Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? While everyone thought the two actresses would receive Academy Award nominations, only Davis made it to the Oscars. Crawford allegedly campaigned against her and even eventually went onstage to accept the award on behalf of the winning actress Anne Bancroft. Their dispute inspired the 2018 FX show Feud, starring Susan Sarandon as Davis and Jessica Lange as Crawford.

Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty co-starred on WB’s Charmed at the beginning of the 2000s. They had such bad chemistry behind the scenes that Doherty ended up leaving the show after season three. Not only did she constantly fight with Milano, but she also had creative differences with the show.
“I don’t know if she got fired, we never really found out what happened. I can tell you that we were on the air with her for three years and there were definitely some rough days”, Milano said on Watch What Happens Live
Milano recently stated that the two have buried the ax. “What happens 15 years ago or however long ago that was, it’s irrelevant“, she said.
#11. Katy Perry Vs. Taylor Swift
Katy Perry and Taylor Swift started off as best friends when they both rose to fame in the early 2000s. Followers thought their feud started after Perry started dating Swift’s ex-boyfriend, John Mayer, but they actually had a falling out over business.
“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational — you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now, I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.” said Taylor.
Swift got back at Perry when she released the single Bad Blood in 2014, allegedly in reference to their dispute. When asked about the video by Entertainment Weekly, Swift said that when “women come together and they decide to unite, this world is going to be a better place”.
#10. Sinead O’Connor Vs. Frank Sinatra.
Sinead O’Connor and Frank Sinatra‘s dispute triggered when the former refused to perform at a New Jersey concert during her I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got tour, just because she didn’t want to sing the national anthem as requested by the venue. Apparently, she has “a policy of not having national anthems played before my concerts in any country, including my own because they have nothing to do with music in general.”
The following day, Frank Sinatra took the same stage and told his audience, “I’d like to kick her in the a–!” before singing the national anthem as the venue required. A few years later, O’Connor told Esquire Magazine: “I can’t hit this man back, he’s like 78 years of age, and I’d probably kill him.“
#9. Joan Rivers Vs. Johnny Carson
Joan Rivers and Johnny Carson were great friends, so much so that Rivers would sometimes guest-host Carson’s talk-show The Tonight Show. In 1983, Rivers became a permanent guest-host for Carson for 3 years. However, Rivers received such good ratings guest-hosting Carson’s show, that Fox offered Rivers her own late-night talk show, which she accepted. Carson was furious after finding out Rivers had taken the position.

“The first person I called was Johnny and he hung up on me — and never, ever spoke to me again. And then denied that I called him. I couldn’t figure it out. I would see him in a restaurant and go over and say hello. He wouldn’t talk to me”.

Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor were great friends back in their early 20s. However, it all changed when Taylor’s husband Mike Todd died in a plane crash in 1958. Reynolds’ husband Eddie Fisher met up with Taylor, but while he initially meant to console her, the pair ended up having an affair behind Reynolds’ back.
“I was the last to find out about the affair. There had been hints in the papers and I had noticed that when I turned up at functions or parties on my own my friends were whispering. Although I didn’t want to find out the truth, I had to face up to it. Even so, it was a great shock to find them together. It left me shattered”,Reynolds told The Daily Mail.
However, the two were able to make amends and went back to being friends.

Back in the early ’90s, Tyra Banks said she was pitted against model Naomi Campbell when she took her first steps in the fashion industry. The media only encouraged the feud.
“The industry was saying, ‘Look out Naomi Campbell, here comes Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell sit your butt down, this younger one is coming to take your place,'” said a journalist on E! News.
Banks protested that Campbell would always bully her and that she would often say nasty things to her during runway shows. Luckily, they have worked out their differences and now they’re great friends.

While shooting I Love Trouble in 1994, co-stars Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte reportedly hated each other so much that they had to film their scenes separately and use stand-ins to create romantic scenes. Other members of the crew confirmed to Los Angeles Times that the two actors didn’t get along.
“Roberts reportedly wasn’t thrilled with Nolte’s machismo, so she would deride and insult her co-star. Some on the set claims that he became so annoyed with her attitude that he would do things to agitate her even more. The discord was so intense, the sources say, the two played more to stand-ins than to each other”, jouranlist Judy Brennan once wrote.
Roberts, however, never cared to hide the truth. “From the moment I met him we sort of gave each other a hard time, and naturally we get on each other’s nerves,” the actress said.
#5. Mariah Carey Vs. Nicki Minaj
Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are two popular stars loved by fans, but the two went at it during their one-season stint as judges on American Idol. The two women joined the reality competition but allegedly they didn’t get along. During the auditions, Minaj stormed out of the room after picking up an argument with Carey, and the fight continued throughout most of the season.
Carey was asked if she was the “b—-“ Minaj sang about in a song, and Carey gave a sassy response. “Don’t know. I didn’t know she sang. I thought she rapped. Or whatever,” Carey answered. As always, the media did all they could to trigger the feud:
“Mariah has been saying little things to jab at Nicki from day one of shooting. Mariah doesn’t think Nicki can sing and doesn’t think she should be judging folks. Nicki has been taking all of the jabs, but on this particular day she lost it”, a journalist said.

Janet Hubert-Whitten used to play Vivian Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but she was later replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid, in part due to a reported feud she had with star Will Smith and other show executives. In the fall of 1993, season four premiered with a new Vivian Banks in the house.
In 2011, Hubert-Whitten told TMZ she would never attend a reunion with the cast because "I will never do anything with an a-hole like Will Smith." After actor Alfonso Ribiero shared a cast reunion photo in 2017, Hubert-Whitten spoke against her former co-stars once again. "I have no interest in seeing any of these people on that kind of level," she wrote to her fans on her Facebook page.

Selma Blair was ousted from Anger Management after picking up a fight with co-star Charlie Sheen. The Hollywood Reporter stated that Blair complained about Sheen’s work ethic, and when he found out, he had her fired from the show. He even sent her a rather vulgar text message in which he called her a “c–t.”.
During an interview with Watch What Happens Live in January 2017, Sheen commented on his feud with Blair and with his other co-star, Jenny McCarthy.
“I’d like to mash those two together and then kick them to the curb. They deserve each other. So, um, that is not the case anymore,” he said.

Kanye West and Jay-Z were friends for years and they worked together too. Jay-Z first hired West as a producer on his record label in 2011, and 5 years later they released their first album together, titled Watch the Throne.
However, problems first arose while West was on his Saint Pablo tour. Apparently, he lost his senses in one of his shows and started speaking out against different people, including Jay-Z. In front of the whole audience, he said that Jay-Z never had the decency to give them a call after West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, was robbed at gunpoint. Jay-Z, in turn, replied back in his rap song Kill Jay-Z, saying: “ou ain’t a saint / This ain’t KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by Ye / You gave him $20 without blinking / He gave you 20 minutes on stage / [What] was he thinkin’?“.
#1. Lee Daniels Vs. Mo’Nique
Mo’Nique claims she was “excluded” from Hollywood by Precious director Lee Daniels for not thanking him in her Oscars acceptance speech.
“I think that those are feelings that Mr. Daniels is having. He said, ‘You know Mo’nique — she didn’t thank the producers [at the Oscars]. She didn’t thank the studio, and that’s just not things that you do. Well, it had nothing to do with the producers, nor the studio. Mr. Daniels had a problem that I didn’t say his name the night of the Oscar awards”, the actress said.
Then, in 2017, she went after Lee Daniels, Oprah, and Tyler Perry in a stand-up special where she said they could “suck my d—, if I had one.” Daniels spoke with TMZ and declared that Mo’Nique’s statements had been “disrespectful.” “She needs to shut up,” he said. “Lee Daniels, you shut up,” the actress replied back in a video message, laughing.
