#35. The "Oh Hi Mark" Scene, The Room
The Room has been a cult classic for almost two decades because of how fascinatingly silly and hilarious it is. What makes this movie so awesome is that it was independently made by a millionaire called Tommy Wiseau, who had enough money to make a movie and thought, "why not?".


The film makes no sense, it is inconsistent, and the dialogue is hilarious. But the best part is Wiseau's terrible acting abilities, which are best exemplified in the "Oh hi Mark" scene, which is totally hilarious.
#34. The Dance Sequence, The Shape Of Water
The Shape of Water is a movie that is certainly not for everybody, though critics and audiences alike have agreed that this movie is worth watching. It tells the story of a mute woman who works in a science facility where the government keeps all sorts of creatures. There, she falls in love with a humanoid amphibian.


They can only communicate through gestures, and there is a scene where these unlikely lovers share a dream dance where they express their feelings for each other through song and dance. It is very strange, but also beautiful.
#33. The "As You Wish" Scene, The Princess Bride
There are many things that make The Princess Bride one of the most memorable movies ever made, but nothing comes close to the "as you wish" scene. In case you haven't seen the movie, the main character was once a farm boy who was in love with a girl that always bossed him around.


He always responded to her demands with an "as you wish", which was his way of saying "I love you. Years later, when she thinks he is dead, she recognizes him by the way he says "as you wish", and the two finally reunite.
#33. The "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" Scene, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
Even if you haven't seen Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, there is no way you've never heard of this scene, because it has been parodied a gazillion times, most notably by Madonna in her Material Girl music video.


This amazing scene shows Marilyn Monroe in all her glory. The hair, the dress, the jewelry; everything is just flawless. The song is also legendary, but did you know that Marilyn does not sing the whole song and you can hear another singer instead?
#32. The "Death Is Better Than Bondage" Scene, Black Panther
Black Panther was an instant success when it was released, and that is because it is much more than just another superhero movie. While it has all of the basic Marvel characteristics, the plot is much deeper and the whole movie is fresh and creative.


While there are many memorable moments in this film, the very last scene really stands out. There is a moment where Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) says that "death is better than bondage", and it is so true. What is the point of living if you are not living free?
#31. The Plot Twist Scene, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, as its title clearly indicates, revolves around the mystery of who killed Liberty Valance. You see the different suspects and draw your own conclusions, but then it is revealed that the killer was the least expected person.


As it turns out,(Spoiler alert!) it was Tom (John Wayne) who had shot Valace, and he played innocent the whole time. This shocking twist is one of the most iconic ones out there and it inspired other movies to use the same technique to captivate audiences.
#30. The Tear Scene, Get Out
Horror films haven't been so popular lately, but Get Out brought the genre back to life. This crazy film tells the story of a black man whose girlfriend brings him home to meet her parents. It all seems normal, right?


It turns out that her family kidnaps and brainwashes black people to turn them into slaves.The famous "tear scene" takes place when the main character realizes that he has been hypnotized and starts planning his escape. His expression perfectly expresses the sheer terror that he is experiencing.
#29. The "I Just Wanted To Take Another Look At You" Scene, A Star Is Born
Even though 2018's A Star Is Born was a remake and not an original movie, none of the earlier versions of the film had quite the impact that this one had. This scene isn't particularly important for the plot, but it is so sweet that it is actually one of the most memorable quotes from the movie.


In it, we see the ever charming Bradley Cooper go back to Lady Gaga to take one last look at her before driving away and he tells her: "I just wanted to take another look at you".
#28. The Restroom Scene, Hidden Figures
Hidden Figures is a fantastic biopic about the incredible work of three African-American women at NASA. The title refers to the fact that the work of these women was not appreciated because of their race.


In fact, even though these women were employees working on the space project, they still had to use segregated bathrooms. Katherine, one of the women, finally has enough and gives a powerful speech about racism that prompts people to destroy the "Colored Ladies Room" sign on the restroom door.
#27. The Chestburster Scene, Alien
Ridley Scott's Alien is undoubtedly one of the best science fiction/horror films of all time. The 1979 film features a scene that has inspired countless parodies over the decades and it is still very hard to watch.


The plot is about a spaceship that is infested with alien parasites, one of which lays an egg inside one of the crew members. While they are all having dinner, the egg inside of him hatches and bursts out of his chest. This shocking moment sets the plot in motion as the crew tries to find the alien responsible for this.
#26. The "O Captain! My Captain" Scene, Dead Poets Society
Robin Williams had many iconic roles during his career, and one of his most memorable characters was John Keating in Dead Poets Society. The movie follows the story of John, a new teacher at an all-boys school who has very unorthodox methods of teaching and teaches the boys how to open their minds and their hearts.


There's this legendary scene from the movie where the students climb on his desk and recite a Walt Whitman poet to honor him, which starts like this: "O Captain! My Captain". When Williams passed away, thousands of fans gathered to recreate this scene in his honor.

Love Actually is a 2003 British comedy-drama film which revolves around the lives of 8 different couples and the way each deals with their love lives. All of them are loosely intertwined, and they're all set in the days before Christmas.


Mark and Peter are best friends, and one day Mark shows up at Peter's wife's door to declare his love for her. Instead of speaking out loud, he shows her a series of cue cards, one of which says "To me, you are perfect", and this scene became iconic.
