#30. The Mother Of Dragons
Emilia Clarke plays one of the most important roles in the series: Daenerys Stormborn Of House Targaryen, The First Of Her Name, Queen Of Andals And The First Men, Protector Of The Seven Kingdoms, The Mother Of Dragons, The Khaleesi Of The Great Grass Sea, The Unburnt and The Breaker Of Chains. After all this presentation, we know that Daenerys is one of the candidates to sit in The Iron Throne for sure.
In season 1, we were shocked to see Daenerys emerging unharmed from the fire of the funeral pyre for her husband, Khal Drogo, with three beautiful hatched baby dragons. Of course, we know they are not real and here, Emilia is showing us what dragons in the series really look like.
#29. Sansa Needs A Moment To Rest
We have seen the transformation of Sansa Stark, the eldest daughter and second child of Lady Catelyn and Lord Eddard Stark, and we are not surprised by the leadership she has taken in the last season. We all remember the first appearances of her where she wanted to be like Cersei Lannister.
The person behind the character is the actress Sophie Turner. We know all these hours of shooting days must be really exhausting, and the actress decided to laugh at herself and show how exhausting it can be to plan all the strategies to protect Winterfell.
#28. They Got You, Liam Cunningham!
Liam Cunningham is in the role of Ser Davos Seaworth. The character was at the service of Stannis Baratheon, the Lord Of Dragonstone and then became the principal advisor and right-hand man of Jon Snow.
We can’t think of another person more suitable for the role Liam has. He just nails it! The adorable and servile Ser Davos has been with us during the latest seasons and we hope it continues like this. Seeing Davos braking character is very funny. Even most serious men need a moment of jokes!
#27. Chilling Up With The Red Woman
Melissandre (aka The Red Woman) became an important character, played by the actress Carice Van Houten. In the series, we saw her as a close counselor to Stannis Baratheon in his campaign to take the Iron Throne.
Over the seasons, Melissandre appeared in the critical moments of the series and became an important character that will make you question if you should love or hate her. However, even The Red Woman needs a coffee break to think about her next conjures with the help of the Lord Of Light.
#26. A White Walker On The Rocks, Please
We said that GOT created a world of different types of merchandise, such as clothes, toys and even drinks! Nikolaj Coster-Waldau took advantage of this as part of the new edition of Johnnie Walker, The White Walker Edition.
Nikolaj is in the role of Ser Jaime Lannister, the eldest son of Tywin Lannister and twin brother of Cersei Lannister. His character has been through different kinds of emotions during the eight seasons, from being an inquestionable devote of Cersei to support show his support to Winterfell.
#25. Let The Brothers Be United
The Lannister house was one of the most powerful houses in all Westeros. Cersei, Jamie and Tyrion are an essential part of it. We have seen how the relationship changed between them and how Tyrion became independent from the Lannister House.
For us, this is a perfect picture of the Lannister sibs, all reunited and loving each other. Of course, we know that this doesn’t happen in the real series. The real persons behind the scene are Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lena Headey.

Emila Clarke is known among her partners as a funny and joyful person. She always shares moments with different actors, most of them, behind the scenes.

We have to be completely honest and say that we all wanted Brienne Of Tarth and Jamie Lannister to fall in love. They make the perfect couple to fight and defend Winterfell. Of course, we know that Jamie will have to make a decision between Brienne or Cersei.

The HBO series has made a really interesting transition between the fight for the power and the role of women. The female characters have indeed been winning much power and main roles during the eight seasons. Here we see the BFFs Khaleesi and Missandei having a fun moment, having a sword and matching outfits!
The actresses behind the roles are Emilia Clarke and Nathalie Emmanuel, who are the new promises of Hollywood. After 8 years of sharing hours of recording and many hours of promotion events, they became really close friends and we are sure they will continue being BFFs after the show.

We all remember in season 1 the marriage between the innocent Daenerys and the head of the Dothraki, Khal Drogo, often referred to as “The Great Khal”. We also saw the end of this couple and how The Mother Of Dragons couldn’t love anyone else…

The Mother Of Dragons sent a message to join her into the set of Game Of Thrones and we are sure someone responded to this amazing opportunity. Like Daenerys said: “I’m such a kind and loving leader”. In addition, we don’t see the Khaleesi’s children but we see the real company of Emila during the set, her adorable dog, Molly.
Emilia Clarke affirmed in many interviews that she loves being close to the fans of GOT and she is very grateful for the love they give her and all the rest of the caste. After all, fans have demonstrated their love through more than eight years!
#19. Will You Bend The Knee To Daenerys?
Along the eight seasons, we have seen Khaleesi building up her own base of power with the help of her most loyal friend, Ser Jorah Mormont. The final season will reveal who will be the King or Queen of The Seven Kingdoms.
Meanwhile, the Breaker Of Chains will continue asking everyone if will they bend the knee… In this case, in the set filming! Actually, Emilia was sending a message to the fans to participate in a contest where they would have the opportunity to meet her and be part of the behind the scenes of GOT.
#18. Gemma Whelan Taking What Is Hers
Gemma Whelan is the actress behind the Yara Greyjoy from House Greyjoy of the Iron Islands. Her character has shown strong power and determination and did not doubt to help Daenerys to her claim for the Iron Throne. Her character is part of the female roles that became important during the last seasons.
Gemma Whelan declared in some interviews that she didn’t know if her character would be returned after in season 5 because she didn’t have many appearances in the previous seasons, but finally, this happened in season 7. Here we see a little demonstration of the essence of Yara.
#17. The Red Woman Protects Herself From Sun
Carice Van Houten is in the controversial role of The Red Woman, an advisor of different Kings and Priestess of The Lord Of The Light. She is one of the actresses that enjoys sharing a lot of moments behind the scene.

#16. The Red Woman And Joffrey
Jack Gleeson was in the role of King Joffrey Baratheon. His character was one of the most arrogant, coward and sadistic in all GOT. But we have to say he was a really good actor who made us believe in his role.

#15. The Team We All Want To Be In
During the eight seasons of Game Of Thrones, we see new characters appearing and beloved characters dying, but at least, at the final season, we still have Brienne, Sansa, Tormund, the Night Watch Commander Edd, Ser Davos, The Red Woman, and Jon Snow.
Here we witness a relaxed and funny moment for the gang, away from the fire and war against the White Walkers. The persons behind these characters are Bren Crompton, Gwendoline Christie, Sophie Turner, Kristofer Hivji, Liam Cunningham, Carice Van Houten, and Kit Harington.
#14. Winter Is Coming
The locations of Game Of Thrones are amazing and unique. We actually watch real unknown places where they often film. For example, in season 1 filming took place in Malta for scenes set in the Free City Of Pentos and King’s Landing. The production chose different locations to show the difference between the houses.
The home base for the production of GOT is in Belfast, at the North Of Ireland where we see places like Winterfell, Castle Black and the High Hall Of The Eyrie. Carice Van Houten is proving to us that production takes really serious the script and she has to resist the cold weather with a hot water bottle! Of course, the Priestess of The Lord Of Light wouldn’t like the snow.
#13. You Know Nothing Jon Snow
The love story between The Mother Of Dragons and the son of Rheagar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark will finally have a resolution. We don’t know if Dany will accept the fact that the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne is Jon Snow or if she is going to fight for it. Anything could happen in this season!
In the meanwhile, Jon and Dany are sharing a funny moment behind the scenes. The actor Kit Harington is actually married to Rose Leslie, the actress who played the role of Ygritte during the first seasons. Apparently, Jon Snow finally knew something!
#12. The Giantsbane Needs An Umbrella
Sometimes even the warriors need a yellow umbrella to protect themselves from the snow! We said the production takes seriously the location of the episodes and they try to make everything look impeccable. Even Tormund needed protection from the fake snow!
