#22. Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos
Before they became a real-life couple, they were two young people who happened to star together in All My Children. Mark Consuelos was Mateo Santos, and his love interest was Hayley Vaughn, played by Kelly Ripa. All My Children ended but, thankfully, their relationship didn’t, and now we get to witness their wonderful life together. But, as you may imagine, they had to face some difficult times over their many years of marriage.
The couple eloped in 1996, but they almost didn’t make it to the altar, as they broke up before getting married. Neither of them revealed what actually went down. However, Mark Consuelos recently told the story of how he got Kelly back:
“We both had to meet and do an appearance on Live With Regis and Kathie Lee. When we were together she wouldn’t talk to me and that made me go crazy. So I followed her in Central Park, and then we went back to my place, and we got married the next day.”
#21. Ryan Reynolds And Blake Lively
This couple met on the set of Green Lantern, while both of them were in a relationship with other people. Ryan was married to Scarlett Johansson, and Blake was dating Gossip Girl co-star, Penn Badgley. While Blake and Penn’s characters were endgame, their real-life relationship wasn’t. The couple broke up in September 2010. Ryan and Scarlett ended their relationship as well, filing for divorce in December 2010. The pair didn’t get together immediately. In fact, Lively dated Leonardo DiCaprio in early 2011.
It was not until October 2011, that Blake and Ryan were spotted together. Things moved pretty quickly after that, and the couple tied to knot less than a year later, on September 2012. Their acting careers have never been a problem for the couple, as they are always very supportive of each other. A couple of years after getting married, they welcomed their first daughter, James. Two years later, on September 2016, Blake gave birth to their second daughter, Inez.
#20. Freddy Prinze Jr. And Sarah Michelle Gellar
Oh, the ’90s…what a wonderful time for blossoming relationships. After they met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Freddy Prinze Jr. became serious relationship goals for everyone. He even told People how he realized she was the one:
“A lot of girls back then in Hollywood as far as the actresses, didn’t eat, they ate salad. And I had gone on a date with a handful of them; they would never eat what I would eat. You have to have that in common with me if we’re going to get along.”
“And so Sarah came to dinner with me, and we sat down and she ate everything, including a crab that they let walk across the counter, then kill while it was alive in some oil and said, ‘It’s popcorn, try.’ And she ate it without even blinking, and I was like, ‘Yo, my girl is legit,’” he continued.
After sharing several meals, and co-starring in Scooby-Doo in 2002, they got married. Now, they have been together for almost two decades, and have a son and a daughter.
#19. Ryan Gosling And Eva Mendez
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendez have been together since they met while filming The Place Beyond The Pines, in 2011. These two have been quite secretive about their relationship, even when it was just beginning. Such were the lengths that they would go to to keep their personal life private, that no one knew that Eva was pregnant until just before their daughter Esmeralda was born. History repeated when Eva was pregnant with their second child, Amanda. People found out about her existence after she was born.
It’s pretty clear that Eva and Ryan value their privacy. They have built their life around it. So, when it was reported (or, perhaps should we say leaked?) that they got married on September 2016, some sources close to the couple quickly denied it. We think that maybe they wanted to help them protect their special moment. Whether they have tied the knot or not, one thing is for sure: these two love each other, and the family they have built together.

#18. Anna Paquin And Stephen Moyer
We’ve been through this before: vampire stories and romance. Except that this time, the relationship flourished, and ended up in a beautiful marriage. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer’s love story began during the True Blood years but did you know that their romance started before the show even aired in 2008? Yes, that’s correct. The couple met while they were doing the screen test for the show. Sparks were flying when they met. It was a good thing that they were both single, right?
According to Moyer, they didn’t see each other for three months after that, and when the show began filming, even though their looks had changed (Anna had to dye her hair blonde for the show, and Stephen had to dye it dark), the sparkle was still there. The show premiered and it was a huge success, and so was their relationship! On 21 August 2010, they tied the knot and, two years later, they welcomed their son and daughter.
#17. Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher
After That ’70s Show ended, neither Ashton nor Mila thought they would end up together. When the show came to an end, so did almost every possibility of a future together. Ashton was married to Demi Moore for several years, and Mila was in a relationship with Home Alone‘s star Macaulay Culkin for eight years. They might have been in some serious relationships before becoming an item, but it seemed as their love was fated. Especially, since Ashton was Mila’s first kiss. That has got to mean something, right?
Back in 2001, she told People about that experience:
“Ashton was so nice. He just made jokes and gave me funny little compliments. He made me laugh.”
Little did they know that that kiss would be the first one of many. Now, they are happily married and have a daughter named Wyatt Isabelle, and a son named Dimitri.
#16. LeAnn Rimes And Eddie Cibrian
Ever since they met on the set of the 2009 Lifetime movie Northern Lights, much has been said about this couple. Apparently, an affair while both of them were married to other people was the starting point for this love story. Eddie Cibrian was married to Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville and country singer LeAnn Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet. After the alleged infidelity, both couples tried to solve their problems and move forward.
But there was no point on doing that, as both LeAnn and Dean couldn’t stop thinking about each other. So, after a failed attempt, they divorced their partners, to be together. In 2011, they tied the knot. Guess their love was 100 % fated, as before getting together for the film, they had already known each other. They took a picture together when she was 14 and he was 23. To commemorate their fifth wedding anniversary, LeAnn shared the picture on her Instagram account.
#15. Kaitlin Olson And Rob McElhenney
They are now the parents of two boys and have been married since 2008. The pair met when writer, producer, and actor Rob McElhenney cast Kaitlin Olson for his TV show. When asked about how their romance began, Olson said that they were very sneaky at first, because they thought that their relationship was actually a very bad idea. Surprisingly for both of them, they fell in love and, two years later, they got married.
Here’s one funny detail. According to Kaitlin, when they started dating Rob wasn’t even aware that they were already in love, and was trying to keep things casual.
“It was just like, ‘you have no idea that you are completely in love with me. You want to have it casual and just date, and yet you’re calling me every Friday night and you’re spending the night on Saturday night and you’re seeing me on Monday morning,’” she said.
#14. Alexis Bledel And Vincent Kartheiser
Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser met while filming Mad Men’s fifth season, and shared a dramatic and short-lived on-screen romance. However, nothing happened while they were at work. After filming wrapped, it was time for the real thing to begin. They had a real-life romance, which was quite low key. In fact, it was not until October 2012 that they went public. A year later, the couple got engaged and secretly tied the knot in Ojai, California, in 2014.
Their wedding was a small and intimate affair, and everyone said that it was the perfect way for the couple and all of their friends and family to celebrate their union. A successful career? Done. A loving marriage? Done. Was there anything these two were missing? We bet you’re thinking the same thing we’re thinking… A beautiful baby! Apparently, the newlyweds thought so too, and, in fall 2015, they welcomed their first son.
#13. Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott
Yet another couple born under Lifetime’s lights. Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling met her husband Dean McDermott in 2005, on the set of the 2006 Lifetime film Mind Over Murder, while they were married to other people. Unable to hide the love they felt for each other, Tori and Dean divorced their respective spouses and decided to tie the knot in 2006. What is it with Lifetime films and their ability to create new marriages, right?
A friend of Tori Spelling told People about their romance that it was one of those things that just happened.
“No one meant any harm to anyone. You can’t help who you fall in love with and who you’re right with,” they said.
Five children, a cheating scandal, and several reality shows later, Tori and Dean are still going strong and better than ever.
#12. Claire Danes And Hugh Dancy
Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy met while they were filming the movie Evening. When Evening Standard asked the actor about their relationship, he explained how they met in a very simple way:
“I went out to appear on Broadway in Journey’s End for five months. To do something very English, very British. Then my personal life changed and I ended up staying there. I made a movie and met my wife.”
Did you know that both of them have caught serial killers and terrorists for a living over the years? What, you didn’t know? Oh, right, we almost forget to say that it is not them who actually used to do it, but their on-screen characters, on Homeland and Hannibal.
Don’t miss our next slide, it features one of everyone’s favorite couple. Care to guess who they are? We’ll give you a hint: they love began inside a very steamy cave.
#11. Kit Harington And Rose Leslie
Rose Leslie and Kit Harington met on the set of HBO’s Game Of Thrones. While these two shared a passionate yet short romance on the show, their real-life romance is anything but short. After dating for several years, the couple got married in 2018. Their family and friends were very happy for the couple, and couldn’t wait to celebrate their union with them. Can you imagine being there, sitting next to all of those Game Of Thrones stars?
On second thought, and after watching some of the weddings that took place on that show, perhaps it is not such a good idea, right? Let’s just better remember what Jon Snow, we mean, Kit Harrington had to say about how he fell in love with Rose:
“If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it’s becomes very easy to fall in love.”
#10. Josh Dallas And Ginnifer Goodwin
When Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas met on the set of ABC’s Once Upon A Time little did they know that they would find happiness on a TV set. Who would have thought that playing Snow White and Prince Charming would lead them to meet their better half, right? Is there anything that could make this story even more romantic? The answer is yes. According to Dallas, it was love at first sight for them. Just like in a fairy tale!
Josh proposed to her in October 2013, and the pair got married in April 2014. A few years after tying the knot, the couple welcomed their first child, a boy they named Oliver Finlay Dallas. Two years later after he was born, Ginnifer gave birth to their second son, named Hugo Wilson Dallas. When asked about her thoughts on motherhood, she said that it made her feel like acting was not at all creative, but being a parent was an absolute challenge.
#9. Mia Goth And Shia LaBeouf
They met on the set of Nymphomaniac in 2011. and have had a volatile relationship ever since. From an alleged wedding to an almost violent fight in Germany, the time Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth have spent together was the talk of the town. Even their wedding was quite controversial. The pair allegedly tied the knot in 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Allegedly is the keyword here, as local officials have later claimed that no marriage license was issued during that ceremony.
Let’s just say that they had an eccentric commitment ceremony, where some vows were exchanged. After that, their relationship continued, but eventually, they hit a really rough patch and it became impossible to salvage. Even though they tried to, there was nothing else they could do. Recently, it has been reported that the Transformers actor has been dating singer FKA Twigs who, as you might remember used to be engaged to Twilight star, Robert Pattinson.
#8. Emily Vancamp And Josh Bowman
When Josh Bowman and Emily Vancamp met on the set of Revenge, little did they know that playing husband and wife on the small screen would make them become a real-life couple. Like everyone else on our list, these two lovebirds met on set. However, according to Vancamp, being an onscreen couple sometimes messed with their heads. For example, that time when Bowman’s character got killed off on the series. Fortunately, their relationship ended only on the small screen.
Setting all Revenge’s drama aside, Emily and Josh have found a way to make their relationship work and even got engaged in 2017.
“Trust is the most important thing in any relationship because everything falls into place after that,” said Vancamp in an interview with InStyle Australia.
Her better half was more concise when People asked him about the best way to make a relationship work. He simply said “communication.”
#7. Javier Bardem And Penelope Cruz
Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz met several years ago, in 1992, while filming Jamon Jamon, when Cruz was only 18 years old. But it was not until many, many years later that they hit it off romantically. They reunited 15 years later on the set of Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona, where sparks flew, and as you already know, they became inseparable. Two years later, on July 2010, they got married. Now, they share a happy life and are the proud parents of Leonardo and Luna.
A short time after tying the knot, Bardem told GQ:
“I’m happily married. I breathe and stay in peace. I truly thank whoever’s up there for giving me the opportunity to be loved.”
The couple has co-starred in Loving Pablo and The Counselor, too but they didn’t share any scenes in the latter.
#6. Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth
They were one of our favorite couples. That’s why we were incredibly sad when they broke up and called the engagement off. Fortunately for them, and for us, Miley and Liam’s love proved to be the real thing, and they were able to overcome every obstacle in life. Today, they are happily married and share their life together. Who would have thought when they met while filming The Last Song, that they would go through so many things together, right?
After dating for several years, the pair got engaged for the first time in 2012.
“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” said Miley on an interview with People.
Things went downhill after that, as they later broke up. Miley dated model Stella Maxwell and Patrick Schwarzenegger, but neither of those relationships worked out. As you know, the rest is history, and now Miley and Liam are happily married.
#5. Lili Reinhart And Cole Sprouse
This is the first Riverdale couple to make it to our list, there’s another one waiting for you! But back to Cole and Lili. They met on the set of Riverdale, and while not so much has been revealed by them to the public, fans were quick to ship them. Just like their characters, Betty and Jughead, they make a beautiful couple. As you may have heard, Cole is a great photographer and, Lily is one of his muses.
On his Instagram account, Cole often shares pictures of Lili and writes lovely captions as well. Isn’t it romantic? Lili does that as too. A few months ago, she shared a great picture of Cole standing on a mountain full of snow and captioned it with the praying hands emoji. Oh, and speaking of romance… Last August, they spotted walking down the streets of Paris. Cole even shared a picture of the two of them there. We’re thinking that it was a romantic trip for two. Who wouldn’t love that, right?
#4. Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie
As we warned you, not every couple on our list has a happy ending. Sadly, Brangelina is one of those. They were together for over ten years, but their fairy tale came to a bitter end. It all began when they met while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Their chemistry was undeniable. We knew that, and they knew that, too! You can imagine what followed, right? Yes, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston ended up divorcing each other in 2005, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
That same year, Brad and Angelina were reportedly on vacation, in Kenya. Their relationship developed pretty quickly after that. Less than a year after Brad and Jen’s divorce was finalized, People confirmed that Angelina was expecting her and Brad’s first child. Some years later, Pitt adopted Angelina’s children, and she gave birth to twins. Everything seemed to be perfect, they even got married in France, in 2014. Sadly, their life together ended two years later, when Angelina filed for divorce in 2016, and petition for primary custody of their six children.
#3. Samira Wiley And Lauren Morelli
Orange Is The New Black star, Samira Wiley revealed that she began to fall in love with her now-wife Lauren Morelli, while they were working together on the Netflix show.
“I just remember her coming to set and me being able to watch her be a boss from afar, telling whatever people to go this way, answering this question. Just seeing her literally be the person in charge was really attractive to me,” said the actress.
Before they started to date, Lauren Morelli was married to a man, so this new relationship was quite a journey for both of them. They really got to know each other over the three years they dated. And finally, when they were on holiday in Palm Springs, Morelli surprised Wiley and popped the question. A year later, they tied the knot on the same place they got engaged. Isn’t it lovely?
Don’t miss our next slide to see which other Riverdale couple made it into our list!
#2. Camila Mendes And Charles Melton
Another Riverdale couple that makes it into our list, another Riverdale couple that we definitely stand. Our beloved Camila Mendes has been dating her co-star Charles Melton for six months now, and we couldn’t be happier about these two. Spoiler alert! They shared a brief romance on Riverdale as Veronica and Reggie, and while it is apparently over, the opposite can be said about their real-life relationship. Rumors of their relationship began back in the past few months.
With almost every member of the Riverdale fandom looking for proofs, they had no other option but to share their relationship with the world. By October 2018, the couple made their love Instagram official. The first one to post a lovely photo was Camila, and Charles followed shortly after. They even have picked their nicknames. Well, at least he has. Camila revealed that Charles calls her Baby Dragon. Hopefully, they will soon reveal what nickname she picked for him, right?
#1. Jennifer Aniston And Justin Theroux
She was our beloved Rachel Green for many years and had always had a special place in our hearts, especially after her divorce from Brad Pitt. There was not a single person who didn’t want Jennifer Anniston to find love once again. So, when she met and married actor Justin Theroux, our hearts were filled with joy and we were ready to believe in love once again. Sadly for all of us, Aniston and Theroux’s marriage didn’t last, and the couple announced their split on February 15, 2018.
While it was pretty devastating that they decided to split, it has been reported that both Aniston and Theroux have worked very hard and managed to remain in good terms. When Justin was asked about their break up, he said it was heartbreaking “but only in the sense that the friendship would not be the same, as far as just the day today. But the friendship is shifting and changing, you know, so that part is something that we’re both very proud of.”
