Of course, the type of series we wanna watch will depend on our mood: while sometimes we feel like going for a heart-wrenching drama or an apocalyptic sci-fi show, other times we just need something a bit less tragic to lift our mood and brighten up our day. Here we have a list of the best feel-good TV shows of all time. Simple but deep stories are behind these hilarious series and shows, and #17, #8 and #2 are one of the best!

#23. Fuller House

The continuation of Full House brings new airs and a story full of strong female characters that we can’t help but love. In the original series, a widowed broadcaster had to raise his three children with the help of his brother-in-law and reckless best friend, and let’s face it, some of the episodes were truly heart-breaking! But unlike the famous 80s show, this Netflix reboot is way less tragic and it will make you laugh non-stop!

In this new series, the actress Candance Cameron-Bure is in the role of D.J. Tanner, a widow with three sons. Despite her sad past, she’s a happy-go-lucky woman who enjoys life and raises her children with the help of her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and her best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber). Don’t miss it, it’s a lovely and uplifting show!

#22. Younger

If you were born in the 90s, you probably remember actress and singer Hillary Duff in the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuireFor those of our generation, nothing made us happier than the day Younger was released in 2015. Of course, its plot is very different from that of Lizzie McGuire, but it’s just as hilarious!

Duff is in the role of Kelsey Peters, a 20-year-old publishing employee who meets Liza Miller (Sutton Foster), a 40-year-old woman who looks much younger. Miller decides to reboot her career and her love life pretending to be a 26-year-old, and that’s when all the fun begins. The series is based on Pamela Redmond Satran’s novel with the same name.

There is no other series like When Calls The Heart, both because of its heart-warming romantic story and its truly breathtaking sceneries. The story goes around the life of Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), a young teacher from a wealthy family in the 1910s that moves from the East Coast to a small coal-mining town in the West to teach in a local school.

It’s safe to say that nothing will cheer you up more than the search for America’s next drag superstar. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a bizarre comedy show about a 29-year-old woman who is rescued from a doomsday cult in Burnsville, Indiana, who had kept her under captivity for 15 years. Now, Schmidt (played by Ellie Kemper) has to face real life and try to survive New York City life.

Of course, Schmidt’s life wouldn’t be the same if it weren’t for the company of her new best friend, Titus Andromedon (played by Tituss Burgess). Together, they engage in some pretty hilarious (mis)adventures, just as Schmidt struggles to adapt to her new life.

Some of the best comedy TV shows focus on the lives of ordinary families and how they resolve their everyday problems. Such is the case of Black-Ish, which centers on the life of Dre Johnson (played by Anthony Anderson), his wife Rainbow (played by Tracee Ellis Ross), and their four lovely kids.

This TV series is based on Eddie Huang’s bestseller auto-biographical novel of the same name. The story goes around the Huangs, a Taiwanese family that has recently moved from Washington DC’s Chinatown to Orlando, Florida to make their American dream come true.

A round of applause for the people who came up with the brilliant idea of creating a comedy show that is solely set in a superstore. This simple story is about a group of employees of a big box store and the bizarre and crazy situations they experience.
