Today, we’ll look at 30 celeb brides who looked breathtakingly beautiful on their big day.

#30. Michelle Kwan

Two-time Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan took our breath away with her beautiful custom Vera Wang dress on her wedding day when she married Clay Pell. The retired figure skater married her US military official husband in 2012, and their wedding was incredible. Kwan cried her way down the aisle, while Pell stood by the altar with tears in his eyes. It was truly a fairytale wedding, and it seemed like a match made in heaven.

Unfortunately, however, the pair had been married for only four years when they announced they were getting a divorce. But despite the split, the two have nothing but good things to say about each other, and they insist that they still love and respect each other very much.

#29. Samira Wiley And Lauren Morelli

Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli met at the set of Netflix‘s Orange Is the New Black in 2012, where Lauren is a writer and producer, and Samira one of the lead cast members. They fell in love with each other when they got together to discuss an episode centered on Samira’s character, and sparks flew. At the time, however, Lauren was married, and the couple only got together two years later, in 2014.  In 2017, the pair had a lovely confetti-themed wedding in Palm Springs.

The couple walked each other down the aisle, looking magnificent in two Christian Siriano outfits. Samira wore a ball gown with a gorgeous off-the-shoulder neckline, while Lauren chose a sleep jumpsuit adorned with a cape and a high lacy neckline. When the party started, however, they changed into jeans and tank tops to dance the night away with all their loved ones. At the end of the night, the couple set off to honeymoon in Italy.

#28. Katie Holmes

Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes married superstar Tom Cruise in what has been called the wedding of the century. Not only was the event completely packed with celebrity guests – such as Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony – but it was one of the most expensive celebrity weddings of all time. The couple got married in an Italian castle, and the entire wedding party wore Armani. Even Andrea Bocelli performed for the couple, adding up to a $2 million wedding celebration. But what got everyone’s attention was how beautiful and happy Holmes looked in her Armani dress.

Photo: Courtesy of Ritely

The two were certainly the it-couple in 2006, and they were on the cover of every possible magazine. Tom Cruise even made history when he infamously jumped on Oprah’s couch shouting “I love Katie Holmes!“, so it really looked like they were perfect for each other. But their fairytale romance came to an end in 2012 when Holmes filed for divorce, which allegedly took Cruise by surprise. The wedding pictures, however, will last forever.

#27. Nicky Hilton

Nicky Hilton, Paris’s sister, walked down the aisle in a gorgeous Valentino gown covered in lace on her wedding day. She married James Rothschild at Kensington Palace in London, in a ceremony fit for royalty. Her look was allegedly inspired by Dutchess Kate Middleton‘s dress, which also had long lace sleeves. The hotel empire heiress said that she wanted a traditional, elegant wedding look, and she totally nailed it. The gorgeous gown was made from three different tones of ivory and silver guipure richly embellished with crystals.

Photo: Courtesy of Page Six

The cherry on top was the three-meter-long train. Sadly, however, the train was so long that it actually got caught under the wheel of a Bentley right before she got into the car to drive to the ceremony. However, that didn’t ruin the happiest day of her life. Moreover, the dress was her something new, while the veil was her something old, as it was made from vintage Valentino lace. To top it off, her something blue came in the form of sister Paris and mother Kathy‘s blue bridesmaids dresses. Lovely!

#26. Gabrielle Union

Actress Gabrielle Union looked like a Disney princess on her wedding day when she tied the knot to NBA player Dwayne Wade.  Her gorgeous custom Basso gown was mostly designed by her. She oversaw every single detail about the dress and gave specific instructions about what she wanted and how she wanted it. The results were pretty amazing, weren’t they? Reportedly, she put a lot of effort into her wedding dress in order to impress her husband, who is known for being one of the most stylish men in the NBA.

Photo: Courtesy of Nova 969

The couple met all the way back in 2007 but didn’t start dating until 2009. Since then, they’ve been completely inseparable. Then in 2014, they finally tied the knot, and later embarked on an unbelievable honeymoon to the Maldives.  Wade already had two kids of his own when they got married, so the public wasn’t sure if the couple would have children. In 2018, however, they welcomed their first daughter, and are planning on having more.

#25. Ellen DeGeneres And Portia De Rossi

Comedy legend Ellen DeGeneres found true love in actress Portia De Rossi, who she met in 2000. They didn’t start dating until 2005, however, and have been together ever since. They decided to make it official in 2008, in an amazing but intimate wedding ceremony. Ellen looked super elegant with a white sheer Zac Posen shirt, vest and pants, while Portia wore a Zac Posen halter bridal gown with a pink bodice and a full pale pink tulle skirt.

Photo: Courtesy of People

The couple married very quickly – only three months after getting engaged – to take advantage of the law in the state California that had recently allowed same-sex couples to marry. Despite the split rumors in 2018, the happy couple celebrated their 10th anniversary, making them one of today’s longest standing Hollywood couples. They both posted sweet messages for each other on Instagram and uploaded some beautiful wedding pictures that made everyone believe in true love.

#24. Dita Von Teese

Who said you gotta walk down the aisle in white? Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese rocked the world when she wore a stunning, puffy, purple dress when she tied the knot to singer Marilyn Manson.  She loved her spectacular Vivienne Westwood dress so much that she gave it a name: Birds of Paradise. The eccentric couple got married in the Gotrief Helnwein castle, which gave the ceremony an elegant, gothic feeling. Their unique wedding style made history.

Photo: Courtesy of Image.ie

The couple had been together for five years before they got married in 2005, but sadly, the marriage only lasted one year. Von Teese filed for divorce in 2006 and quickly moved out of their shared home. However, it appears to be that they’re still on good terms and wish each other the best.

#23. Nicole Richie

Reality TV star turned fashion designer Nicole Richie wore a stunning wedding gown inspired by Grace Kelly at her wedding. The immense ball gown skirt was the center of attention, and the Marchesa gown also featured a lace bodice with long sleeves. The skirt was made from more than 100 yards of silk organza and tulle petals, and the result was incredible. The happy bride looked like an ethereal ice princess as she walked down the aisle to marry musician Joel Madden.

Photo: Courtesy of Rant Now

The couple started dating in 2007, during a difficult time in Richie’s life. But it was Madden’s love and support that helped her overcome her demons. In 2008, the couple had their first daughter, Harlow, and got engaged two years later. Their beautiful winter wonderland-themed wedding took place that same year, in 2010, after which the couple had another child.

#22. Ivanka Trump

Businesswoman Ivanka Trump looked gorgeous when she married media mogul Jared Kushner at her father’s golf club in 2009. She went for a simple, elegant look with a wedding gown also inspired by Grace Kelly, but with short sleeves. Her dress was made by Vera Wang and had three layers of lace. Her beautiful blonde hair was covered by a long veil and diamonds from her own jewelry collection.

Photo: Courtesy of Ritely

The happy couple met in 2007 at a business lunch which was arranged by Trump’s business partner, and they hit it off right away. Unfortunately, they briefly split in 2008 because of religious differences. It turns out that Kushner is Jewish, while Trump wasn’t. But later, they rekindled their romance and Ivanka converted to Judaism before their wedding. The couple now has three children together.

#21. Gwen Stefani

Musician Gwen Stefani took everyone’s breath away with her gorgeous pink wedding gown when she married singer Gavin Rossdale in 2002. The stunning dress was dip-dyed and hand-painted, designed by John Galliano for Christian Dior.  Their beautiful wedding took place in London, at the St. Paul’s Covent Garden. The ceremony consolidated the couple’s long-lasting relationship. To be honest, they were a match made in heaven.

Photo: Courtesy of Ritely

The singers met in 1995 and allegedly fell in love at first sight. They were together for seven beautiful years until they finally decided to get married. After their marriage, they had three children together. Sadly, the couple announced their divorce in 2015 after 13 years of marriage. However, they had an amicable split, and both share custody of their children.

#20. Ashley Tisdale

Singer and ex-Disney star Ashley Tisdale married musician Christopher French in a secret ceremony in 2014, wearing a gorgeous, delicate Monique Lhuillier dress. Her maid of honor was none other than her High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, and her bridesmaids included her sister, as well as actresses Kim Hidalgo and Shelley Buckner. Although the ceremony was private, the star has spoken about her wedding day, saying it was the best day of her life.

Photo: Courtesy of Cosmopolitan

The couple got engaged in 2013 after dating for one year. They were introduced by mutual friends and reportedly fell in love at first sight. Tisdale said in an interview that she knew French was the one ever since their first date. Now that their 5th wedding anniversary is coming soon, people can’t help but wonder when the two will have children, but they’re allegedly very busy with their careers at the moment and are simply enjoying their time together.

#19. Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway looked stunning when she married Adam Shulman in 2012. The gorgeous actress wore a custom-made Valentino bridal gown during her intimate wedding in Big Sur, California, in front of only 100 guests. She is actually very close to the Italian designer, who made the dress just for her, and who has claimed to love her “like my daughter“. So it’s no wonder he made her such a spectacular dress that takes us back to her days as the princess of Genovia.

Photo: Courtesy of Pinterest

The two met in 2008 at the Palms Springs Film Festival through a common friend and allegedly fell in love at first sight. Their connection was so strong, that Hathaway told a friend at the time, “I’m going to marry that man“. She was actually the one who took the first step and asked him out on a date. The couple got married after dating for four years, and had their first child, Jonathan, in March 2016.

#18. Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff went back to her Disney roots and looked like a true princess when she married Mike Comrie in 2010. She wore a gorgeous mermaid Vera Wang dress with an up-do hairstyle and a long, delicate veil. The couple had a small ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, with only 100 guests. The aisle was lined with candles, and the couple stood under a beautiful arch of flowers and dim lights as they exchanged vows.

Photo: Courtesy of Trattoria al Gusto

The actress and the hockey player started dating in 2007 at a resort in Idaho and were together for eight years before they got divorced in 2015. Now, Duff is dating musician Matthew Koma and is expecting a baby girl with him, but they don’t have any plans to get married anytime soon.

#17. Avril Lavigne

When Avril Lavigne married Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley in 2005, people expected the couple of punk rockers to have a sort of punk, goth wedding, just like Marilyn Manson did. But everyone’s surprise, the couple chose a traditional, elegant wedding instead. Lavigne got rid of her colored tips and went for light-blonde hair color, and wore a delicate, mermaid wedding dress with a puffy veil. She chose to have minimal jewelry and open-toed shoes to accompany her gown.

Photo: Courtesy of Ritely

Avril admitted that “I wanted to be a princess,” and she totally nailed it. The fairytale-like ceremony took place outdoors at a private estate in Montecito, California, with just a few friends and relatives. Sadly, the marriage only lasted three years, and the couple announced their official split in 2009.

#16. Chrissy Teigen

Model Chrissy Teigen and musician John Legend are a truly a power couple right now. As such, they had an expensive, glamorous wedding in Lake Como, Italy, which was full of celebrity guests. Chrissy looked gorgeous in not one, but three Vera Wang gowns. The one she wore at the ceremony was actually not originally a wedding dress, but a runaway piece in burgundy. She requested a few details to be changed and had the dress made in white.

Photo: Courtesy of Martha Stewart Weddings

For the wedding reception, Teigen changed into a mermaid gown with a micro-pleated bodice and a sheared organza full skirt. Finally, she wore another mermaid gown —though this time in bright red— to keep the after party going all night. The happy couple only had eyes for each other during the whole celebration, and Legend even serenaded his bride singing his song All of Me, which he wrote for her when they were dating. Talk about couple goals!

#15. Kaley Cuoco

Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco traded the traditional white dress for a bright pink, a puffy gown for her wedding to tennis player Ryan Sweeting. The couple fell in love very quickly and got engaged just three months after they began dating. But things went even faster: they got married three months after the engagement, in what turned out to be an incredible ceremony. Kaley’s lovely Vera Wang dress featured a sweetheart neckline, a hand-gathering detailed bodice and hand appliqué Chantilly lace accents.

Photo: Courtesy of Popsugar

Another interesting detail about the colorful fire-and-ice-themed celebration is that the couple actually got married on New Year’s Eve. To top it all off, the wedding cake was shaped like a chandelier (honestly, it didn’t look like a cake at all), and hung from the ceiling above the dancefloor. The wedding was original, fun, and got lots of news coverage for all the right reasons.

#14. Miranda Kerr

After being married to Orlando Bloom for a few years, Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr moved on to marry Snap CEO Evan Spiegel in 2017. Their wedding celebration wasn’t a huge, show-stopping affair; instead, it was a cozy, intimate celebration at their home with 45 friends and relatives. Despite the modest party, Miranda had a breathtaking, jaw-dropping gown custom made by Dior. The dress was entirely made of satin, and her skirt, the color of whipped butter, was appliquéd with lilies of the valley.

Photo: Courtesy of Pinterest

The dress had long sleeves and a conservative cut, inspired by none other than Grace Kelly, like many other celebrity brides who can afford to do so. The highlight of her look was a delicate but big sparkly flower crown, which held her very long veil. The overjoyed couple had their first child together, Hart, soon after the wedding, and are expecting their second one to be born later this year. Together, the two make up one of the world’s most well-known power couples.

#13. Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake‘s 2012 wedding was every couple’s dream come true. The gorgeous bride chose a frothy pink confection by Giambattista Valli, just like Kaley Cuoco. The actress said in an interview that it wasn’t her idea to wear a pink dress, but that the designer suggested that she wear the piece in pink. She decided to take a leap of faith and ended up nailing the look. The strapless silk organza gown featured a light pink floral motif and many ruffles at the bottom.

Photo: Courtesy of Pinterest

For a personal touch, Biel’s floor-length veil – also made by Valli – featured pearls from her grandmother’s wedding tiara. Valli also outfitted the entire wedding party and the bride and groom’s moms. As if this weren’t enough, Biel changed into another Valli dress from the same collection for the wedding reception. The biggest fan of the bride’s look was definitely Timberlake, who was all smiles during the whole thing.  They have been together for eleven years, and have one son, Silas, together.

#12. Priyanka Chopra

Indian actress Priyanka Chopra looked amazing in not one, but several dresses, during her wedding week last March when she married Nick Jonas.  And if you were wondering, no, you did not read wrong: the wedding lasted a whole week! The couple mixed their cultures together and had both Western and Indian wedding ceremonies and receptions. For her Western ceremony, Priyanka wore a custom Ralph Lauren gown that was semi-sheer. The exquisite dress was hand-beaded and hand-embroidered, featuring floral and scroll motifs, which took a whopping 1,826 hours to create.

Photo: Courtesy of Bigsta

For the Indian celebration, she wore a bright traditional custom Sabyasachi lehenga, which was also hand-embroidered and took even longer to make: 3,720 hours! Her wedding jewelry included uncut diamonds, emeralds, Japanese cultured pearls in 22 karat gold, and tiny diamond stars. Someone needs to put this masterpiece in a museum! After celebrating their wedding for five days, the couple had enough and set off to a beautiful honeymoon together.

 #11. Ciara

Singer Ciara looked like she came right out of a fairytale at her wedding with Seahawks player Russel Wilson. To add to the fairytale theme, the couple married in the beautiful, centuries-old Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, UK, and the whole celebration was very traditional. The love birds exchanged vows with the stunning medieval backdrop behind them, in front of 100 guests, many of whom were celebrities. In fact, two of Ciara’s bridesmaids were actresses Kelly Rowland and La La Anthony.

Photo: Courtesy of Pinterest

The gorgeous bride wore a custom Roberto Cavalli gown, made in white silk tulle and embroidered with intricate beading and an elegant lace appliqué. The lace bodice had a plunging neckline, and the sleeves were made in a Boho bell style. The entire wedding party was dressed only in black, which only served to highlight the beautiful bride dressed in white. The couple looked as happy as ever during the ceremony. The two had begun dating in 2013 and got married three years later.

#10. Meghan Markle

The gorgeous Meghan Markle made jaws drop all around the world when she stepped out on her wedding day to Prince Harry. She went for a simple, yet stunning dress, and a 16-feet-long veil, which took 500 hours to make. She had a flower embroidered on it for every country in the Commonwealth, to pay tribute to her new home. She also included a special flower design as a thank you to the Queen for accepting her into the royal family.

Photo: Courtesy of Pinterest

But the most special part of her look was a very tiny, blue patch of fabric sewn into her wedding dress as her something blue. The small piece of fabric came from the dress she wore on her first date with Prince Harry who, upon finding out about this, shed tears from his eyes. During the reception, she changed into a more comfortable, yet still stunning sleeveless dress. But the best accessory of the couple’s look was definitely their bright smiles, which they couldn’t hide during the whole ceremony.

#9. Victoria Beckham

Ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham blew everyone away with her puffy, satin Vera Wang dress on her wedding to football star David Beckham. The dress and her makeup were very simple, which highlighted her natural beauty. The wedding bouquet was slightly strange, however, but the bride still looked like a princess. She and David announced their engagement only one year after they started dating, which prompted many negative comments and rumors that the marriage wouldn’t last, but they certainly proved everyone wrong.

Photo: Courtesy of Fame 10

The beautiful couple married in 1998 and had their first child, Brooklyn, a year later. After him, three more kids followed: Romeo, Cruz and Harper. The happy couple is literally inseparable. Not only do they attend events together all the time, but they have also worked together on several projects, such as being the faces of Emporio Armani Underwear. They also take their kids to as many events as possible and are a super tight-knit family. Although there were split rumors in 2018, the couple is stronger than ever and about to hit their 20th anniversary.

#8. Angelina Jolie

This wouldn’t be a proper list if it didn’t include the legendary Angelina Jolie. The second half of the iconic Brangelina wore a beautiful satin Versace gown, accessorized with a pair of white silk Versace heels and her hair in a sleek bun, complemented by natural makeup. The beloved couple tied the knot in 2014 after being engaged for two years, and ten years after they fell in love. The intimate ceremony took place in their chateau in France, with only close friends and family present.

Photo: Courtesy of Ever After Guide

The highlight of her look, however, was the back of her dress. Angelina wanted all of her and Brad Pitt’s kids to be heavily involved in the wedding, so she had colorful drawings created by them printed on the back of her dress and on her veil, something that no celebrity had ever done before. The kids also walked her down the aisle, helped write their parents’ vows, and even baked the wedding cake. The couple always made it clear that their children were the most important people in their lives, and they wanted to show that at the wedding.

#7. Sofia Vergara

Colombian stunner Sofia Vergara looked as beautiful as ever in her wedding to actor Joe Manganiello in 2015. Although she usually wears figure-fitting, sexy outfits, she opted for a more traditional look for her wedding, but still maintained her signature flare. The Modern Family star wore a strapless Zuhair Murad Couture ensemble that made her look like a goddess. The dress had yards of lace which gave it a sassy princess vibe, but it wasn’t the only dress she wore during her wedding weekend.

Photo: Courtesy of Pinterest

She also wore three other incredible dresses, all in white. But the true eye-catcher was the one she wore for the ceremony, which required a team of 32 people to create. Her groom couldn’t keep his eyes away from her! The ridiculously attractive duo met at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2014 and fell in love at first sight. According to Manganiello, it was Vergara’s smell that captivated him, and the first day he met her he knew that she was the woman of his dreams.

#6. Kim Kardashian

TV personality turned into business mogul Kim Kardashian was losing faith in marriage after her two failed attempts in the past. But little did she know that the love of her life had been there all along: her old friend, Kanye West. According to West, he had been in love with her since the day they met. They started dating in 2012 and had their first child, North, a year later. After North’s birth, they decided to get married.

Photo: Courtesy of People

The couple had an over-the-top wedding in Florence that lasted a whole weekend. The beautiful bride walked down the aisle in a tight-fitted, lace Givenchy Haute Couture, which looked as if it came straight out of a fairytale. The lavish ceremony reportedly cost $2.8 million and was filled with celebrities, such as John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and Will and Jada Smith. The happy couple had two more children, Saint and Chicago, and will soon celebrate their 5th anniversary.

 #5. Audrey Hepburn

Although she is most often remembered wearing her tiny black dress and diamond tiara from Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Audrey Hepburn‘s classic wedding dress has also gone down the hall of fame of fashion history. She walked down the aisle in a Pierre Balmain piece when she married Mel Ferrer, which later inspired many brides over the years. She met her first husband at a party, where he offered her a part in a Broadway play. One thing led to the other, and they ended up at the altar in 1954.

Photo: Courtesy of Pics We

She wore a tea-length flared dress with a satin sash, ballgown sleeves, and a high neck. The doe-eyed beauty also wore elbow-length gloves and a delicate flower crown around her very short hair. She wore no jewelry, and her makeup was minimalistic. Several years later, she also wore another lovely dress on her second wedding, this time to Andrea Dotti.

#4. Celine Dion

Celine Dion‘s wedding gown is certainly among the most impressive dresses of all time. She wore a gown made by Mirella and Steve Gentile that took more than 1,000 hours to make, full of small, intricate details. The gorgeous lace bodice wrapped around her figure, and the big, puffy skirt featured a 20-foot train. But the highlight of her look was definitely her tiara. The tiara weighed seven pounds and was made of more than 2,000 Austrian crystals, and its value is impossible to calculate.

Photo: Courtesy of Luxury Brides

But how did she manage to carry that on her tiny little head? Well, it was actually sewn into her hair to help it stay in place. It must have been tremendously uncomfortable for her neck, but she didn’t look uncomfortable for a second. On the very contrary, she looked like the happiest woman in the world on her big day. Her groom, René Angélil was speechless when she stepped out. They were happily married for 21 years until Angélil passed away in 2016.

#3. Amal Clooney

Back in the day, George Clooney was known for being a bachelor who had many girlfriends, but none of them succeeded in making him settle down. Unless until Amal Alamuddin came around and turned the celebrity world upside down. The brilliant human rights lawyer married Clooney – and took his last name – in 2014, in a wedding that truly became the talk of the town. The incredible ceremony took place in the Aman Canal Grande luxury resort in Venice and had many celebrities as guests, such as Matt Damon and Cindy Crawford.

Photo: Courtesy of Ritely

But the center of attention was Amal’s breathtaking Oscar de la Renta gown, which was to die for. She also wore three other dresses, as the celebration took place over an entire weekend. At the wedding party, she wore a short, sparkly wedding dress, and during the rehearsal dinner, she wore a bright red Alexander McQueen piece. Finally, she wore a black and white striped dress and she set off to her honeymoon with her new hubby. Her iconic looks will forever be in pop culture’s history.

#2. Grace Kelly

The iconic wedding of actress Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco took place in 1956. The exquisite gown that she wore during the affair has inspired thousands of brides on their big day over the course of decades. The incredible piece was made by Helen Rose, a double Academy winning designer who worked in MGM’s wardrobe department. The dress used over 400 yards of fabric, which included a 125-year-old rose point lace.

Photo: Courtesy of Woman More

The skirt, which was made of ivory faille, had three petticoats, and the veil was 90 yards long. The beautiful actress walked in her gown in front of 30 million viewers who gathered to see the ceremony from afar, and it has gone down as one of the most important fashion events in history.  On that wonderful wedding day, she officially became princess consort of Monaco and left her acting career behind forever. She was also required to give up her American citizenship, and Prince Rainier banned her films in Monaco.

#1. Kate Middleton

The dress that Kate Middleton wore when she married Prince William in 2011 was so breathtakingly gorgeous that people are still talking about it eight years later. The stunning Alexander McQueen was narrowed at the waist with padding on the hips, to give the Dutchess an hourglass figure. The dress was actually made by several teams of people and took ages to complete. Images of roses, daffodils and shamrocks were placed all over the dress, showing an intricate hand-made design.

Photo: Courtesy of Pinterest

The tiara that she wore was lent to her by the Queen, which was the cherry on top of her mesmerizing look. The dress, noted for its impeccable design, influenced bridal gown trends and generated much comment in the media. Replicas of the dress were produced and sold, and the original dress was so popular, that it was actually exhibited on public display at Buckingham Palace for everyone to admire.
