19. DECIDED TO GO FOR A WALK
Christopher Wanliss had just bought his dream home. It was closer than he’d ever imagined and he was ecstatic about moving in there. His new home was an enormous home built in a massive 16,5 hectares of land. But there was something that Christopher would never have imagined… That’s not something you’d expect.
As soon as Christopher moved in, he decided to take a walk to discover the surroundings as well as more obscure parts of his new massive home. He was more than excited for this walk and he knew that it would be full of surprised… but not like this one…
18. IT CHANGED HIS LIFE FOREVER
Little did Christopher know that this walk would ultimately change his life… forever. While exploring his new property, Christopher discovered something strange. It was a hidden doorway that seemed cold and creepy in the touch. Christopher was bound to explore it.
17. PUSHING THE DOOR
Christopher was initially afraid of the doorway but decided to at least see what’s inside of it before moving any further. Despite being creeped out he pushed the old, rotten frame of the door and discovered something that would hunt him for the rest of his life.
16. IT WAS A DARK TUNNEL
Christopher was beginning for feel more and more anxious as he was staring into the abyss of the dark tunnel that he had discovered in his own house. The temperature seemed to be far lower inside the tunnel and Christopher didn’t know what to do…
15. HE DECIDED TO EXPLORE IT
The tunnel behind Christopher’s doorway seemed to be quite lengthy and he needed a flashlight to proceed any further. He run upstairs to grab a flashlight but before returning back to the strange tunnel, he decided to do this.
14. HE MADE A CALL
Christopher felt like the wiser man on earth when he decided to make a call before returning back to explore further the tunnel behind the doorway. Christopher called his realtor and asked him about the strange tunnel. He didn’t like what he had heard…
13. “DON’T GO INTO IT”
After Christopher explained to his realtor how cold and creepy the tunnel was, it was obvious that the realtor had no idea. He advised Christopher not to go inside of it and make a call to the local police station just in case anything goes wrong.
12. ALERTING THE POLICE
Christopher called the local police station and received the same answer… “Don’t go into it”… but the police officer’s tone was colder, almost like an order. It seemed like the police knew something more after all.
11. DECIDED TO EXPLORE IT ANYWAY
It was obvious that he couldn’t tame his curiosity… even though both the realtor as well as the police officer advised Christopher not to go in, he decided to take the risk and soon he was in the entrance of the tunnel… alone.
10. A GOLDMINE? A TREASURE?
“What if there is a goldmine?”, “What if there is a treasure down there?”. Questions like these seemed to dance in Christopher’s mind when he was entering the tunnel only with his flashlight. While being really scared his curiosity and ambition drove allowed him to continue walking towards the darkness.
9. HE WAS RIGHT
After walking for a while inside the tunnel, Christopher’s flashlight illuminated at something that was reflecting a lot of light. “That was it” he thought. At this point he was sure that he had found something valuable down there. Then something really creepy happened.
8. LIKE INDIANA JONES
“When we bought the house, nobody ever told us about the fact that the estate had a lot of mines on it. We just sort of stumbled upon the gold mine one day and that was it. When I first saw it, I was so excited that I almost fell over myself. The only thing that I could think about was Indiana Jones and underground railroads”.
7. HE HEARD A VOICE
Suddenly Christopher’s blood froze… Even to this day he could swear that it was at this moment when he heard a voice of an old man down there. Christopher was starting to panic and decided to do this.
6. HE SHOUTED BACK
Christopher shouted back only for the echo of his own voice to return back to him. But Christopher was starting to feel the presence of something down there. His gut was screaming on him to get out of there as fast as he could.
5. THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED
“The ambient temperature also seemed to drop all around me at this point suddenly, and I felt an even stronger negative presence ahead in the tunnel.”
It was obvious that something was going on down there and Christopher was almost paralyzed by fear.
4 HE RAN BACK
Christopher’s curiosity couldn’t hold him down there anymore. Christopher was sure that something paranormal was going on down there. He started to run with all his strength back to the entrance of the tunnel…
3. THE LIGHTS WERE FLICKERING
He made it back to his new house. But something was wrong… it was evening at this point as Christopher had completely lost the sense of time down there and all the lights of his house were flickering like crazy. Christopher thought that he was losing his mind.
2. STILL A MYSTERY
Up to this day what happened down there remains an unsolved mystery. Christopher never managed to find a sane answer about what was going on in the tunnel and he never intended to return down there…
1. CONSIDERING TO SELL HIS HOUSE
A while after this happened Christopher said that he was considering to sell his house as he couldn’t feel comfortable as well as safe in there… who could blame him after all?
