I guess this goes more for how men can be romantic, but I guess women can take note, too. If you think you’re lacking that with your partner as well. Men, whatever women say, they want a guy who is romantic. Now you don’t have to be cliche, and act like some cheese ball from a bad romantic comedy. Be true and meaningful.
Don’t be cliche. Don’t say every single line you’ve heard from a movie. They aren’t stupid, they want truthfulness. It’s not what you say, but how you say it is what counts. Sometimes just looking right into their eyes, smiling, and simply just saying a few simple words can go along way. Your body language is what counts the most. So if you’re not great with words, that’s okay. You don’t have to be.
When you’re try to do something special, let come from your heart, not the price tag. For instance on Valentines Day, I didn’t get my girl anything. Instead I made her a video, using variety of pictures from us, with Bruce Springsteen’s Valentines Day being played along with it. This took a lot of effort, time and dedication to get it just perfect. To have each lyric match the picture I wanted to use. This was a much bigger hit, than jewelry, flowers, or candy. Don’t believe the hype, just getting a girl something doesn’t really tell her how much you mean to them. Doing something that takes effort, and is sincere does. You don’t have to do something like this for an occasion. Surprise her, or him and do it randomly.
