Below are a few tips to help you get rid of these creep crawlies!

I hate ants and I know you do too. When it rains they come in my kitchen and bathroom. I did some research over the years and here’s what works best for me.

Make sure you wipe down the counter tops and floors. You do not want excess water or any food particles around to attract ants. Ants love dirty counters. They take the food particles back to the net and grow and multiply.

Wipe down your counter tops and cupboards and any other places where you have seen ants with a mixture of white vinegar and water (50/50). You can mop your floors with vinegar and water too for a very clean and non toxic shine.

I have heard the certain dried peppers work in controlling ants. Ant traps and glue traps are great form what I hear.

Move  trash and recycling bins as far from your home.Wrap and store food. Refrigerate all perishable food.

Look and see where the ants are coming in your home and lay a line of baby powder down to keep the ants from coming in. Ants hate the smell of vinegar and is a natural ant repellent. Good luck!
