DLF IPL: Great Match and failure of Brendon McCullum.

It was a great match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, where good captain got the game. The match had so many nail biting moments and it was like pendulum moving one point to other.

But the thing which hurt me the most was the decisions taken by the KKR Captain Brendon McCullum. It was only Brendon to blame for the loss of KKR. He was totally failed to lead his team. There was neither far sight ness in his decisions and nor in his abilities to lead the team. For me he is totally a failed captain who has null knowledge about his team mates and their calibers.

It was the 1st match of the current DLF IPL season which came to tie and went for super over. For me, it was 1st match of super over, which was exciting enough.

It was KKR’s turn to bat first in super over and the captain choose himself over Sourav Ganguly who was just came to dugout, knew the conditions well and able to get good shots. And Shane warn showed faith in his new discovery Kamran Khan, the new fast bowler who in my view is going to debut for Indian National Team after IPL.

KKR Score only 15 runs with sum fine shots of Gayle and a bad one from Brendon. Rajasthan Royals sent their best and it was Yusuf Pathan who was there, just to score big boundaries and he did the same hit sixes on another bad decision of Brendon, Ajantha Mendis, the spinner at the crucial time of the match, and got the win for his team.

It was the best match of the IPL2. But left some question it, Is brendon McCullum really able to lead Kolkata Knight Riders, the Shahrukh Khan’s team? I think he don’t know his team well nor understand the caliber of his team mates. There were so many bad decisions taken by him and KKR paid the price of his decisions.
