Samsung Galaxy S4 in Town!

This year the big gadget company has released the next generation of Android Phone to the market. Only been launched for several days it has been so popular among the gadget-freak. Do you think Samsung can topple down the Top Rank of Smartphone “Apple” with their masterpiece “iPhone 5”? So, I have summed up the specification and review of this Samsung Galaxy S4 from several sources.

Samsung Cover!

Like the previous year’s model, the Samsung S4 isn’t a phone for petite hands. But Samsung has squeezed in a screen that’s bigger than the previous year’s into a handset that’s quite smaller (that has the dimensions are 136.6mm tall, the same as the S3, while the width and depth, 69.8mm and 7.9mm, are smaller than S3 phone).

The change of the thickness is visible and means that though it’s big it doesn’t feel unmanageable. It has 130g weight which is lighter 3g from the previous series. The display is 5in this year, against last year’s 4.8in on the S3. So it’s quite big to show off the phone!

As before there are two colours, this time white and black. Both look good, though the white looks more lively and has a gentle, subtle texturing that you only see when you look closely.

Features!

What do you wish this super phone can do? Okay, take a deep breath. Because we have a long way to get through. This smartphone has so many featured. Let’s take a look!  Smart Stay technology, where the front-facing camera would monitor your eyeballs and dim the screen when you weren’t looking at it, has been progressed. This is the new icon of S4.

When you’re watching video and your peepers stray, Smart Pause stops playback until you look back again, at which point it smoothly restarts. The same tech is used in conjunction with the accelerometer so that when you reach the bottom of a web page, tilting the phone scrolls the content up for you.

Curious for more featured? Not only had those featured there are other features which mean you don’t have to touch the touchscreen. Pass your hand near the phone when it’s in standby and the screen gently wakes, shows a near-dark background speckled with stars and reveals how many texts, emails or missed calls you have before turning off again. It’s a neat feature.

At some point when you are incapable of touching your phone but you really want to. Samsung S4 has granted your wish. You still can operate your smartphone by just hover your hand or finger in front of your phone and it will work for you. Maybe when you’re making a cake using the recipe from the phone, or you’re in the beach when your hand s are full with the tan lotion but you still can operate it.

There are even temperature and humidity sensors, so you can monitor more than you’d imagine. You can also use the phone as a decent TV remote, thanks to the infra-red transmitter in the top.

Performance!

Screen Resolution                                 : 1920 x 1080

Camera                                                : 13 MP (Primary) and 2 MP (Secondary)

Chip                                                     : The Qualcomm quad-core 1.9GHz chip and the 2GB of RAM
