How to Earn Money by Writing Online

Recently, many article directories have sprung up that pay users for their articles. I can tell you from personal experience that these sites are not scams. They are far from scams. I only started writing a couple of weeks ago, and already I have made a few extra bucks.

However, don’t expect to quit your day job. This is not a “get rich quick” scheme. All those things you see about making $2000 dollars an hour are lies. It does not happen. But if you want some extra money to maybe pay for your Internet bill, that can happen. So let’s get a little more detailed here.

There are two methods of earning. The first method, is through revenue sharing. Sites share the Adsense revenue they get from clicks with the writers and publishers. Usually, the sharing rate is pretty good, around 50-60% goes to the writers. This method can be very rewarding once you generate good traffic to your articles, but in the beginning, it’s not going to be that great. Some sites that have this option are:

1. Hubpages

Hubpages allows you to publish “Hubs” on all kinds of topics. You will need an Adsense account, however you can also earn from Amazon, Ebay, etc.

2. PrintnPost

PrintnPost is very similar to Hubpages. However, the sumbission guidelines are a little more strict. Here, your submissions will be reviewed before they are published (grammar & spelling). This ensures for better quality writing on the website.

1. Triond

Triond shares 50% of the revenue generated by the advertisements on your pages. I am really liking Triond. It is a very user-friendly and welcoming place. You should check it out.

The second method you can make some money is by joining site that pay per views. For example, for every 1000 views, you earn two dollars. In my opinion, this is the better option. For me, it has proven more successful. But then again, I am fairly new to this as well. The following are some of the best sites for this method.

1. Bukisa

Bukisa pays you for every 1000 views. The rate depends on the traffic to the website each month. They call the paying rate “The Bukisa Index”. Currently, it is at $3.42. This is extremely high. Most sites pay around $1.5o or $2.00. I recommend you take advantage of this of this! I joined Bukisa and I really like it. It gets very good traffic. My articles have a lot of views and I only posted them a week ago. So far, Bukisa (along with Triond), is the best website to make some extra cash.

2. Associated Content

Associated Content pays $1.50 dollars for every one thousand views. However, as you gain popularity, this can increase. The best feature of Associated Content, is that they pay for submissions to certain categories. This feature is only available to US citizens though. If you’re serious about making money online, this is a sure join.

Ultimatelly, earning money online is not easy. You have to be commited, determined and strong-willed. Do not believe the get rich quick schemes, because they do not work! The earlier you realise that, the less vulnerable you will be on the Internet.
