The 207 was introduced in 2006, it is available as a 3 or 5 door hatchback, an estate and in some markets as a saloon too. The 207’s replacement, the 208 is ready to go on sale and will be available at UK dealerships later this year.

In 2010 Peugeot launched a special edition model of the 207 to celebrate Kris Meeke’s Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) championship win in 2009. Only 250 units of the special edition were made, it is based on the 3 door Sport 1.6 VTi model – all changes and enhancements are cosmetic.

The S16 model comes with a body kit featuring front and rear spoilers, side skirts and a pseudo rear diffuser and it rides on white 17-inch Hockenheim alloy wheels. All models are painted in Bianca White and graphics replicating Meeke’s IRC livery are a no cost option. The S16 model comes with a body kit featuring front and rear spoilers, side skirts and a pseudo rear diffuser and it rides on white 17-inch Hockenheim alloy wheels. The 1.6 litre petrol engine pumps out 120 bhp and propels it from 0-62 mph in 10.7 seconds; it has a maximum speed of 125 mph. When new the Peugeot 207 in Essex cost just under £10,000, the S16 model cost £14,695. If you look in the right places you can now find good examples of the S16 for around £10k, but make sure you check them thoroughly and get a HPI check done.
