The Seat Mii is a small city car announced by the Spanish car maker last year; it is due to go on sale later on this year. The Mii is based on the VW Up! and shares it platform with the Skoda Citigo too, together the three models make up the new Volkswagen Group New Small Family (NSF) range of models. Within the Seat range the Mii will be replacing the outgoing Arosa model, which has done well for the brand.

Initially the Seat Mii was unveiled just as a 3 door model but now a 5 door model has also been added to the line-up. Even with its 5 doors the Mii is only 3.56 metres long, 1.64 metres wide with a wheelbase of 2.42 metres. To make is city and town friendly the Mii has short overhangs both at the front and the rear.Initially the Seat Mii was unveiled just as a 3 door model but now a 5 door model has also been added to the line-up. Like the 3 door model the 5 door model will also be powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. Available in two outputs of either 60 PS and 75 PS. The small city car has a top speed of 99 mph and 106 mph respectively, fuel consumption comes in at just 62.7 mpg or 60 mpg. Like all Seat and VW Group models the Mii will also be available with Ecomotive variants. Ecomotive models are designed to be more fuel efficient, without compromise to performance.Like the 3 door model the 5 door model will also be powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. The Ecomotive models use edge start/stop system, brake energy recovery technology and other consumption reducing initiatives. The result is combined cycle fuel efficiency of 68.9 mpg and CO2 emissions figures of just 96 g/km for the 60 PS version, 67.2 mpg and 98 g/km for the 75 PS Mii.

Seat is yet to publish full specs and technical data on the five door, but it is assumed that the 5 door model will cost slightly more than the 3 door one. Get ready to trade in your used Seat in lakeside for this new one!
