This is a yummy chicken recipe that is so easy to make. It is also very tasty and filling. A comfort food, if you will. I have made this dish several times and it has become a family favorite. I hope you like it as much as I do. Thanks for checking it out.

Ingredients

For this yummy chicken recipe you need fresh chicken breasts, however many you want to make. Frozen ones will not do. You need bacon, I like the thick peppered bacon you can get from the meat section at your grocery store. You will need one large jalepeno for each chicken breast. One small pack of cream cheese and you are ready.

Preparing

First you need to cut the top off your jalepeno pepper and clean out the inside, being careful not to touch your eyes or anything sensitive until you have washed your hands. I know it stings something awful. Stuff it with cream cheese.

Next take your chicken breast and pound it with a meat hammer, or do like I do, put it in a large zip lock bag and beat it with a hammer. Be careful not to damage anything. A cutting board would be good to do this on.

Next salt and pepper the chicken, then place the stuffed jalepeno on the chicken and roll up the chicken over the pepper. Take your bacon and wrap over the chicken. You can use 2 or 3 pieces to wrap with. Secure it with a toothpick.

Cooking

You want to then get a pan that you can use on the stove and in the oven. First you brown the chicken on the stove, which only takes a few minutes.

Have your oven warming to 350 degrees. When the chicken is browned on all sides, take the pan with the chicken and place it in the oven for 30 to 40 min. If you use a meat thermometer, the chicken is done when it reaches 165 to 170 degrees.

Remember, because you have browned the chicken that the cooking time is shortened. This chicken smells delicious while it is cooking too.

Sides and Dessert

Almost anything goes with chicken. I like to have french style green beans or a rice dish.

For dessert I like creamy vanilla ice cream with blueberries and raspberries on top.  Oh, so good.
