Corruption is found in almost every walk of life. Even the so called noble professions like that of doctors, lawyers’ ad teachers are not free from this malady. There are among medical men some who play upon the ignorance ad innocence of the illiterate people. Though here there is no question of giving or receiving bribes, the practice is a corrupt one.

Political corruption has, fact, been made the butt end of satirical portrayal in films and stage plays. Another form of political corruption is the habit of floor crossing’ when some fid that they do not get positions of power and influence in the party on whose ticket they won the election, they go over to some other party there are many who out beat the chameleon in the constant and many changes of color, here, the color of the party flags.
That these professions have become ignoble
The doctors deceive them about the nature of the ailment. Their practice is corrupt in as much as dishonest means are adopted to get money from others. In some other cases, some who are allowed to have private practice in addition to their regular jobs in a hospital, follow a different method of operation. They prescribe medicines from their private clinics to their patients, but supply to them medicine from the hospital stock. Examples of such kinds may be cited about other professions also. This is not to suggest that all lawyers, doctors or teachers are corrupt or that these professions have become ignoble.

Smuggling, black marketing ad bootlegging are other forms of corruption, since those indulging in these activities play upon the innocence and credulity of the common man. They are unmindful of the misery they cause to the people, as long as they are sure about leading a rich and comfortable life. Such patent form of corruption is often left to prosper unchecked.
