Love is an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment. Love is also a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection; and “the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another”
The reason why men seem to pull away when things start to get hot and steamy is because the emotional attachment feels like a burden to him. If a man is a pursuer, he may truly enjoy his time with you, but eventually, he has to pull away in order to feel like a man.
Why is Love so complicated?
Men are capable of feeling emotions, but not in the same degree or intensity as women. The problem with men is that they don’t want to lose their freedom, so they feel the need to pull away as soon as youstart feeling all lovey-dovey. This leaves women feeling perplexed and confused wondering if they’ve said or done anything wrong. The more a man pulls away, the more the woman will pursue him making him feel too attached, uneasy or uncomfortable.
Scientific research indicates that if you want your man to fully commit his attention and time to you, whether that’s in the form of love, time, exclusivity and marriage, you must help him feel like a man rather than putting restraints on his freedom. If you want to bring your man closer, you must give him space and allow him to be a man.
In order to rebuild their testosterone levels, men will often pull away. Keep in mind that men are from mars and women are from Venus. While men are reluctant to talk about feelings and emotions, women are the total opposite. If a woman’s emotional needs are not being met, then she feels unloved. Research also indicates that men often use communication to get results while women use communication in order to connect emotionally. It’s no surprise to find that men usually have hard time coping with strong emotions from women. In addition, they also have a difficult time expressing or sharing the truth about their feelings with women.
However, a man in love is a complete transformation. Like a woman, even a man’s life changes from the moment he falls in love. His behavior, thinking and lifestyle, will see a change. It may not be a vast difference, but a noticeable one nonetheless. Yes, men, when they fall in love, start thinking quite a bit like women. Most personality traits that one will find typical to women will be visible in men, when they are in love. However, the problem of understanding arises because of their state of denial.
