Shepherd`s soup

This delicious soup is easy for preparation. The recipe serves 4-5. The time for its preparing is about an hour and 40 minutes.


500 gr ram meat

80 gr onion

50 gr oil

Red pepper powder

1 table spoon tomato sauce

400 gr green bean

300 gr potatoes

2 table spoons flour

150 gr yoghurt

1 egg

Garlic powder or 5 cloves garlic

Black pepper powder

1 table spoon lemon juice

Salt to taste

Method of preparation:

First, you have to chop the onion finely and to stew it into the oil. After that add the tomato sauce and the red pepper powder, pour warm water. The meat should be cut into small pieces and added to the soup. Boil until the meat is tender. Then cut the green bean into stripes and put it into the soup. Continue cooking. When the bean is milder add the potatoes cut into cubes. Continue cooking until the soup is ready (about 20 minutes). Salt it to taste. Prepare the mixture from the yoghurt, the flour and the beaten egg. Pour this mixture into the soup by constant stirring. Then add the garlic powder (or the finely chopped garlic cloves), the black pepper powder and the lemon juice. Enjoy this delicious soup!
