The IIT JEE 2012 is an exam that will be held in the month of May in 2012. The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam is considered to be one of more difficult entrance tests in India. Candidates appearing for this test or exam are engineering aspirants and those who crack the objective exam are called for another exam called IIT mains. The Indian Institutes of Technology admit students based on this exam and every seat in these colleges is extremely coveted. Students often start their preparation for this exam well in advance. A whopping 4, 85,000 students appeared for this examination in 2011. This figure went up by 6.5% compared to the previous year. The competition is high not only among the students but also the coaching classes, which have grown by leaps and bounds in the past few years. A two year course for the IIT JEE starting 2 years before the actual exam is the most popular among the students. These courses for the IIT JEE 2012 have begun in 2010.
