Medical Treatments Having Received CCPC Accreditation

Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC) received from the Joint Commission International’s (JCI’s) governing board attests to a hospital’s competency and commitment in providing the best healthcare service globally possible.

In addition to accrediting facilities, as the leading health care accreditor in the US, JCI accreditation’s Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC) attests that specific medical treatments fostering satisfactory results can be assured of in Thailand.

Cardiology : Three leading hospitals in Thailand have received Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC) for Cardiology (heart disease)

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI), or as it is commonly known, a heart attack, is the disruption of the blood supply to the heart causing heart cells to die. This is an irreversible necrosis of the heart muscle resulting from an imbalance of oxygen supply and demand.

Primary Stroke: A Primary Stroke Fast Track system in leading hospitals calls for the availability of a neurosurgeon to diagnose patients suffering from a stroke within 45 minutes of their arrival at the hospital. The neurosurgeon will also inform the level of risk posed to the patient, who will then be sent for a CT Scan and undergo laboratory tests. The neurosurgeon then collects and examines all the test results to begin treatment immediately. Treatment for stroke patients must be ‘fast and the best’.
