Having a child during a woman’s life can be one of the joys of her life. With the impending joy, sometimes there is pain that comes along too. While the excitement of the soon to be new son or daughter is on the way, sometimes pain can get in the way of a woman’s happiness during parts of her pregnancy.
According to a study at Spine Universe, almost 80% of pregnant women experience some type of back pain. There are a number of treatments that are available and of course pain remedies that are present during the labor and birth of the baby too. With pregnancy lasting nine months, there are other ways to make pregnancy comfortable for both the mother and the unborn baby.
According to his current medical release, Dr David Ginsberg, who is the owner of Ginsberg Chiropractic of Geneva, IL suggests that pregnant women seek out chiropractors to help ease their back pain. A study that was reported back in 1991, in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, said that 84% of women who received chiropractic care such as spinal manipulative therapy experienced a decrease in back pain during their pregnancy. Dr. Ginsbery also reported that women who continued to have chiropractic care and performed exercises were to have a less painful childbirth as well. He suggests that women should contact their local chiropractors in their area during their length of pregnancy for regular care.
