1b Oreo cookies (three sleeves in a package)
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese
2 (8 ounce) packages of milk chocolate melted
To begin making the Oreo truffles, gather all your ingredients on the counter, along with a mixing bowl, a spoon, a zip lock bag, a rolling pin, and a saucepan.
Take the Oreo cookies and put them in the zip lock bag. Then, use the rolling pin to crush the cookies into fine crumbs. Pour the crushed up cookies into the mixing bowl.
Add the package of cream cheese to the mixing bowl and blend it with the cookie crumbs using an electric mixer.
When the cookie crumbs and the cream cheese have been well blended, roll the cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1” in diameter.
Melt the two packages of chocolate in a saucepan on top of the stove.
When the chocolate has melted, take one of the balls of cookie mixture, dip it into the melted chocolate, and place it on a wax paper covered baking sheet. Do the same thing with all 42 of the balls.
Refrigerate the Oreo truffles for about an hour, or until they are firm.
Keep the Oreo truffles in the refrigerator when they are not being eaten.
