Cocktail Champagne and Apricots
This recipe serves 2. It is easy for preparation and everybody can prepare this delicious and refreshing cocktail. The time for preparing the ingredients of the Champagne and Apricot cocktail is about 20 minutes. The time for preparing the serving of the cocktail is not more than 5 minutes. If you want you can double or triple the ingredients and then the recipe will serve more people.
Half a bottle of Champagne (your favourite one)
4 ripen apricots
100 gr liqueur or if you prefer 100 gr rum
50 gr sugar
6 ice cubes
Water about 350 gr-400 gr
Method of preparation:
Step 1:The most important thing is to prepare the apricots. The first thing you have to do is to wash them very well, clean and half them. When you are ready with the first step you can follow the instructions:
Step 2: You have to take a small saucepan and place the apricots into it. After that you have to pour some water about 200 gr and boil the water. When the water boils you have to look at the apricots. If it is necessary add some more water. The apricots will be ready after 5 minutes.
Step 3: Take the apricots from the saucepan with a spoon and peel them carefully.
Step 4:You can put the peeled apricots into the same saucepan and pour about 100 gr water. If you want you can use another saucepan.Add the sugar and cook for 5 minutes. The syrup should cover the apricots.
Step 5: Add the liqueur or rum to the syrup and the apricots. Cook for 5 minutes.
Your apricots are ready and you can leave them and after that put them into the fridge. They shoul be cold when you will serve them.
Step 6:It is time to serve the apricots and the syrup. Take beautiful glasses and place the ice cubes and the apricots into them. The next thing you have to do is to add the champagne to the syrup and mix them. The champagne should be cold,too. If you want you can make decorations with pieces of fresh apricots on the rim of the glasses.Enjoy this delicious cocktail!
