Another study by Davy and her group published last year in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association stated that people who drank water before meals ate an average of 75 fewer calories at that meal.

Drinking water before meals is an easy way to suppress your appetite. Drinking a couple of glasses of water an hour before a meal is said to help you to lose weight, as it helps you control overeating.

3) Drinking water burns fat and reduces weight gaining. If you can control your appetite,

you can avoid overeating and you can lose weight easier. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day will help you burn fat and lose weight.

4) Drinking water will avoid water-retention
