A “Full House” awaits and it’s almost time to sit back and relax and have a fantastic time! This show is always excited and filled with lots of family fun. People can’t wait to see the next one!

Being a hit television show, Full House first aired on September 22, 1987. It lasted for a long, eight seasons, However there aren’t anymore new episodes coming out. Reruns for the sitcom still play on T.V. The actors and actresses grew up so they could no longer play their roles. Full House is a great show and many people all over the world think so too.

It took place in San Francisco, California. Widower, Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) is left to raise his three daughters, DJ or Donna Jo Margaret Tanner (Candace Cameron) Stephanie Judith Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and Michelle Elizabeth Tanner (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) after Danny’s wife, Pam, died in a car accident from a drunk driver. Danny asks his best friend, “Joey” Joseph Alvin Gladstone (David Coulier) and his brother in-law Jesse Cochran (John Stamos), but by season two his name changes to Jesse Katsopolis, to help raise his three girls. We watch these three dads raise these girls through the trials and errors of parenting. In one of the later episodes, Jesse gets married to Rebecca Donaldson and they have twin boys, Nicky and Alex (Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit). The abnormal, relatively large population of the family keeps the show very interesting and entertaining. Each of the cast members add their own spark to the show. The family gets along for the most part, but every family has it’s ups and downs. When there’s a problem, the family always comes together to solve it. The family members are full of trust, love, and support.

Imagine the obstacles three young girls face when losing their mother in a tragic automobile accident. How would it feel to be living their life? The oldest of the three adorable sisters was D.J. (Donna Joe) Tanner. The actor that played the role of D.J. was only ten years old when she became part of the show. This character goes through many changes during the show. She started off young and grew into a teenager all throughout the show. She has her very first kiss on stage with her boyfriend, Steve Hale (Scott Weinger). DJ’s best friend, Kimi Gibbler (Andrea Barber), a wacky neighbor that the rest of the family finds annoying, later became a part of the show. The father, Danny Tanner was a sports broadcaster in the early episodes but later became a talk show host with his brother-in-laws’ wife, Rebecca Donaldson. Danny was a neat freak and would go crazy when things get messy. Uncle Jesse was an Elvis obsessed musician, who had a love for motorcycles. Joey is a fun and loving comedian and later on gets his own comedy show. These two men prove to be excellent role models for the three daughters.

Full House is a great family show for people of all ages. Created in the ’80s, it is still loved to this day. The show isn’t just about being a perfect family. It has so many other outstanding qualities in addition to it. The girls face many problems, but they definitely learn from them with the help of the rest of the family. Therefore, the show has very good role models. Because of the cheesy jokes that are told, it makes the show mainly a comedy. It’s also very educational. Containing very positive messages to all of the viewers, is what makes it that way. There are many lessons learned. Danny teaches the girls to make wise decisions and they are disciplined. They know that when they make a mistake, there will always be consequences.

Full House is great for anyone and everyone. It teaches many people life lessons and things that they will most likely need to know later on in their life. It also shows how when families get along, it makes life a whole lot easier and less stressful. There are several wonderful qualities about this sitcom and everybody should at least watch one episode to see if they enjoy it. A lot of people all over the world love this show and just can’t seem to turn the television off when the show is on. It’s a really funny, family-oriented series. Sadly, it came to an end in 1995; however it proved to be a good show because it is still being sold on DVD and is played as reruns on T.V.
