My absolute favorite facial mask to make at home to help exfoliate and rejuvenate my face and skin is my homemade honey mud mask. It is made with nourishing, exfoliating, soothing, and hydrating ingredients that get the skin and face clean by getting deep down into the pores and drawing out impurities naturally. Best of all it can be used on any skin type to help maintains skin healthy glow, texture, and beauty.
The natural and organic needed to make the honey mud mask are 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 Echinacea and goldenseal dried powder capsule, 1 white will bark powder capsule, 1 ginseng powder capsule, and 1 gingko bilabo powder capsule. All these ingredients can be found at a local herbal store if you do not have them on hand already. You will also want to make sure these ingredients are pure and organic as well as standardized. You want this because you want all the ingredients to be potent and work at their best.
Now the way to make the honey mud mask is by pouring the 1 tablespoon of honey into a small glass bowl. Then you will want to break open all the herbal powder capsules and pour the powdered herbs into the honey and toss the empty gel capsules away. Then you will want to take a small spoon and combined the ingredients together until you get a dark brown honey mud mask that will look smooth and slightly sticky.
After you should use the honey mud mask almost immediately after it is made.
The best way to use the honey mud mask is to rinse your face and skin down with warm water for about a minute to help open up your pores. Then you will want to pat your face dry and take the mud mask with your fingertips and begin to layer it onto your skin evenly. The mask will be thick and slightly sticky but it should spread well. Once the mask is on your face you will want to leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes. The mask should stay moist and be very soothing and rejuvenating to the skin. Once the time is up on the mask you can rinse it off with warm water. However, if your skin is really dry and flaky you will want to rub the facial mask in circular motions using your fingertips to help exfoliate the skin. The mask is slightly gritty and will help remove those dead flaky skin cells right away and than you can rinse your face off with warm water again. After you will have bright beautiful glowing skin that is soft in texture and free from flakiness. However, you might want to apply a facial moisturizer after to help keep the skin well hydrated and protected. I wish you all the very best to keeping your skin and face looking and feelings its best.
