One of my very own favorite beauty recipes to make for my feet when they are super dry and cracked with flaky skin is my moisturizing coffee foot scrubs. It is very easy to make and really helps polish those feet up nicely for the flip flop season.
The ingredients you will need to make my homemade moisturizing coffee foot scrub are 1 cup of vitamin E cream, ½ a cup of sugar, 1 cup of wet coffee grinds, and ¼ a cup of almond oil. You should be able to find all these ingredients in your local grocery store if you do not already have them in your kitchen.
The materials you will need to make my homemade moisturizing coffee foot scrub are 1 small mixing bowl, 1 small mixing spoon, and a plastic container with a lid to store the homemade moisturizing coffee foot scrub in until you are ready to use it.
Now the way you would make my homemade moisturizing coffee foot scrub is by pouring the 1 cup of vitamin E cream, ½ a cup of sugar, 1 cup of wet coffee grinds, and ¼ a cup of almond oil into your small mixing bowl. Than all you will need to do is combined all the ingredients together to form a thick brown gritty moisturizing coffee scrub that may be slightly oily. Next all you do is pour the homemade moisturizing coffee foot scrub into the plastic container and cover it with a lid until you are ready to use it. However, I think it is best to make this foot scrub and use it right away because it only stays good for up to a week and maybe even longer if you place it in the refrigerator.
The way I like to use my homemade moisturizing coffee foot scrub is by soaking my feet in a nice moisturizing foot soak for 30 minutes. Than I like to go into the bathroom and sit on the edge of the tub to scrub my feet. I than simply take a couple handfuls of the homemade moisturizing coffee foot scrub and rub it into my feet removing all the dry rough skin away from them. It usually takes a good ten minutes to do this. After I am done scrubbing my feet with the foot scrub I simply rinse my feet off with warm water and apply a thick nourishing natural foot scrub to help protect my feet and skin from drying out anymore. After I like to take a nice pair of cotton socks and cover my feet right up so they can be even more protected so they have time to heal and soften up even more so they can be pretty for the summertime.
I wish all of you the best of luck with making this homemade moisturizing coffee foot scrub and hope those of you who use it to exfoliate your feet and make them pretty like the way it works. I wish you all the best of luck at making your feet look and feel their best.
