Many of us could benefits from eating nuts on a daily bases to help keep our cholesterol low, heart healthy, keep our arteries strong, prevent diabetes and to even keep our skin, hair and nails healthy and strong. However, not all nuts are good to eat so it is very important to know what nuts provides the most health benefits and are the healthiest to eat. I have created a quick guide below to help you understand what nuts are best to eat and which ones are not so much. 

The best nuts to eat to get the most health benefits from are raw macadamia, almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, and pine and pistachio nuts. They provide the body with vitamin E, omega-3, omega-6, phosphorous, calcium, potassium, selenium, thiamine, monounsaturated fat, beta-sitosterol, magnesium, vitamin A, fiber and iron. These antioxidants here help keep your cholesterol lower, your heart and arteries healthier, your tummy fuller, skin, hair and nails beautiful and help prevent many types of cancers such as breast cancer.  They even provide your body with energy and keep you full longer because of their high carbohydrates and fiber content. You really only need to eat a ½ a cup a day of these nuts to help get the full health benefits from them. The best way to get the health benefits each day from all these nuts is by making your own nut mixture be combining a cup of each of these nuts together in a large zip lock bag, and taking a couple handfuls a day for a healthy filling energizing snack. 

Now the nuts that are not good to eat and don’t provide a lot of health benefits would be peanuts and any kind of nut that is roasted, salted and coated. They contain unhealthy fats on them when these ingredients are added to them. They clog up arteries, harm the heart, cause cancers and diseases and cause common health issues like diabetes. These types of nuts do not contain high amounts of antioxidants in them which mean they can’t fight free radical cells as much.  Peanuts and nuts that are roasted, salted or coated most likely are made for snacking in large amounts which means they aren’t too healthy at all. We all know anything in large amounts is not usually good for us. So, I guess you should still with the raw nuts because they are simply the best kind to eat in handful amounts at a time.

Remember stay away from peanuts and roasted, salted and coated nuts because they are not good for you. Stick with the raw nuts like the raw macadamia, almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews,  almonds, hazelnuts, pine and pistachio nuts because they are what will keep you healthy and provide your body with the proper healthy fats and antioxidants.
