But eating fast food can quickly get expensive. This is especially true if you have a family to feed. You will be astounded how much money you can save by taking just a few frugal steps. Fast food companies, like McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Arby’s, Hardee’s, and Chick-Fil-A, are venders that regularly offer coupons for their menu items. You can also include sandwich shops like Subway and Quiznos; as well a pizza places like Dominoes, Papa John’s and Little Caesars.

Don’t pass up the offers on the back of most fast food restaurant cash register receipts. Fast food companies are competing for your business and many of them are putting coupons for free or discounted meals on the back of their receipts.

Another opportunity for coupon discounts come in the way of taking a survey. More and more fast food venders also have a survey they want filled out in exchange for coupons and discounts. They often print the survey information on the reverse side of the cash register receipt. These surveys range from a phone call survey to an online survey.

Take advantage of newspaper coupons. Buy one and get on for free offers are plentiful in many newspaper ad inserts. This is a great way to save money when dining out with a family. Hint – Ask friends and co-workers to bring you coupons they run across. You may not even need to purchase a newspaper. You possibly have a friend or co-worker that doesn’t want to keep their newspaper have after they have read it. They may be more than glad to give it way to avoid having to toss it themselves.

You will often find coupons that you can download and print out.  Another online sources deal only with coupons. They usually offer coupons on a wide variety of household items. Be on the safe side and make sure you’re dealing with reputable websites.

Caution – Be sure to check the coupon expiration date for discounted or free fast foods. Different stores have different policies. Some businesses will limit the number of coupons that can be redeemed.  They also may require the coupons to be used by more than a single purchaser. Once you get familiar with each policy you will find it easy and fun to take advantage of the super savings that come with redeeming coupons.
