When we thick have cancer preventing super foods we think of berries, citrus fruit, carrots, tomatoes, garlic, onions, and leafy greens, but what about avocados. Many people are worried about eating avocadoes because of their fat content, but what people don’t know if the fat in avocados is healthy fat and can actually help prevent certain types of cancers such as breast and oral. Avocados do not need to be a forbidden fruit anymore. Instead they can be a healthy addition to the fruits your already eating to help prevent cancers and other common health problems.

Now for those of you who do not know what an avocado is it is am oval sized fruit that is about the size of a large tomato. It has a rough dark green thin skin and a greenish yellow soft buttery inside with a pit in the center of it just like a peach would. The fruit becomes very soft when ripe and darkens in color. The avocado has a buttery nut flavor to it that is very pleasant. Avocados are used instead of mayo on sandwiches, tossed in salads, and used to make dressings because of its smooth creamy texture and buttery nut flavor.

The health benefits of eating avocados are so amazing you simply do not want to miss out of them. Each avocado contains antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, natural oils, and healthy fats that prevent cancers and common health problems. One of the cancers that avocados can prevent is breast cancer. Avocados contain oleic acid which is a monounsaturated fat that helps prevent and even treat breast cancer in both male and females. This super fruit also contains lutein in it which is an antioxidant that helps prevent prostate cancer cells from even forming so males can get prostate cancer prevention by simply adding some avocados into their diet each weeks.

Avocado fruits even contain vitamin E. Vitamin E is known to help prevent heart disease, stroke, and heart attacks be keeping the heart healthy and strong be preventing cancer cells from forming in our fat cells. Potassium is another important nutrient in avocados that helps with our heart health because it helps keep our blood pressures at normal level and keep our blood circulating properly in our bodies. Other antioxidants in avocados that are super beneficial to our bodies in preventing all types of cancers and diseases are those powerful carotenes and phytonutrients that like to attack those nasty free floating free radical cells in our bodies that can cause cancers like oral, stomach, colon, and lung cancers.

Some other health benefits that you can receive from eating avocados is healthy hair, skin, and fingernails. The health fat in avocados keeps are skin soft and glowing, our hair shiny, thick, and silky, and our fingernails long, strong, and beautiful. Avocados even help prevent aging and reduce the appears of fine lines and wrinkles which is why avocados are used so much in facial care products, but eating avocados can help make you beautiful from the inside out as well.

One of the best ways to get avocados into your daily diet so you can receive the most health benefits from them is by adding them to sandwiches instead of dressings and oils. You can even add them to salads and make a healthy veggies or corn chip dip out of them. Some people enjoy grilling them up and serving them with steak fajitas or other popular Mexican dishes. Simply getting avocados into your diet each week will help improve your health greatly and make you beautiful from the inside out. All you got to do is eat a few once in awhile.
