Women are starting new businesses in the U.S. at break-neck speed, and the need for new social networking sites for women has increased significantly. Currently just 16% of the total number of U.S. small businesses is owned by women. A recent report released by The Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute projects that female-owned small businesses will be responsible for creating one-third of the 15.3 million new jobs anticipated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics by 2018. The Institute expects that women who own small businesses will create from 5 million to 5.5 million new jobs across the U.S. by 2018.

Wow, so what is a good way for women to accelerate their own small business growth? Many find that joining a social network for women can be a fantastic way to not only find support from other working females, but to also network with people that can become potential investors, employees, friends, vendors, and business partners. There is really no limit to the kinds of connections you can make within new social networking sites for women.

Women across the country are finding themselves stuck in positions they cannot stand. In other words, “their angry and they aren’t going to take it anymore.” Because there are also more resources available to women who want to start their own businesses than ever before, women are doing just that.

A social network aimed specifically at business women is fantastic place to find liked-minded women who want to help  you, offer guidance, and support you with individual mentoring if that is something you need. A network filled with other women endeavoring to do the same thing can be the perfect place to brainstorm new ideas and share tips and resources.

One of the additional benefits of socializing in this fashion is that you could run into women that might offer you that next exciting business opportunity or potential partnership.
