We all do it everyday, go to work, make our money, go home pay bills, and the rest we just spend it on something because we know we deserve it. Why not? We worked hard for it anyway. There are ways you can save some of that hard earned money if you just follow these steps. If you have an account with a bank, you can save yourself a lot of money by switching to a credit union. Maintenance fees can cost you if you really add up the amount to maintain that account or accounts for the year.
Credit unions are non-profit. They just want your business, they offer free checking, and low or no annual fees and the interest rates on getting a loan are very low. Things you normally buy during the season it is in, it would be smart to buy them during a time that it is not in season. Its much cheaper. Normally you would visit your car repair shop, if you need something as simple as an oil change, why not learn to do it yourself, or get someone to change it for you who will not charge you what the repair shop does. Its cheaper that way.
When you visit the grocery store, you don’t necessarily have to buy the name brand product. You can buy the rendition of that same product and it will feel or taste the same. If you drink or smoke, I know this one will be hard to do but try reducing your cgarettes to maybe 4 cigarettes a day and only have 2 drinks a day until you’re ready to move to the next step. Visiting the movies can get a bit expensive, expecially when times have changed, but not in your favor, so the smart thing to do would be, if it doesn’t hurt your pocket. Try renting movies, Because you would get a better deal. First you would not have to return the movies until a week later, so you get to watch them over and over.
To me that would be money well spent. Especially if you thought you missed a part in the movie. You can always go back and view it again. Have a washer and dryer? Wash clothes twice a week, have sorted out what you want to wash or wash all items within those two days. These are just some of the ways you can save the hard earned money that you make.
