God Says, “I Am”

If you say, “I’m lonely, Lord,”
He says, “I am Jehovah-Shammah, the God of presence,
I will never leave you alone.I shall be with you until the end of the world.”
If you say, “I’m hungry, Lord,”
He says, “I can feed you like I feed the birds of the air.The cattle on a
Thousand hills are mine, all of the beasts of the fields are mine.I am the
Bread of Life, Jehovah-Jireh, your provider.”
If you say, “I’m sad, Lord,”
He says, “I am the Bright Morning Star, the Light of the World.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
I can cheer you with my gift of unspeakable joy.”
If you say, “I’m so sinful, Lord,”
He says, “I can wash away all your sins with my blood.
I am “Jehovah-Tsidkenu, the God of righteousness.
If you say, “I’m stubborn, Lord,”
He says, “I am Jehovah-Elohim, the self-existent Creator.I made you.
I know all about you.I also know what to do to make your will
Agree with my will.”
If you say, “I’m confused, Lord,”
He says, “I am not the author of confusion, but I am the Way,
And the Truth, and the Life.I am able to help you see that
I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and
the end. I am the true and living God, and besides me there is no God.”
If you say, “I’m helpless, Lord,”
He says, “I am Jehovah-Nissi, your conqueror.I will fight your battles for you,
And all you have to do is be still.My banner over you is love, for I am Love.”
If you say, “I’m sick, Lord,”
He says, “I can heal you.I am Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals you.
My arm is not shortened that I cannot save; nor my ear deaf that I cannot hear.
Call to me and I will answer you.I sent my word to heal all manner of sickness
And all manner of disease.”
If you say, “I’m tired, Lord,”
He says, “I can strengthen you.I am El-Shaddai, the almighty, all-sufficient
God. My grace is sufficient for you. My power is perfected in your weakness.
Let the joy of the Lord be your strength.”
If you say, “I’m troubled, Lord,”
He says, “I can help you.I am Jehovah-Shalom, the Prince of Peace.
You must be anxious for nothing, for I am in control.”
If you say, “I’m naked, Lord,”
He says, “I am El Roi, the God who sees.I can clothe you like I clothe the lilies
of the field.I make all things beautiful in its time.I give the rainbow its colors
And clothe the beasts of the fields.You must trust me to clothe you too.”
If you say, “I’m lost, Lord,”
He says, “I can lead you to safety.I am Jehovah-Rohi, the good shepherd.
I care for my sheep.You are very important to me.”
If you say, “I’m dying, Lord,”
He says, “I am the Resurrection and the Life.I defeated death, hell and the
grave on Calvary’s cross long ago.Your life is in my hands.
Your will to live will sustain you.”
If you say, “I’m afraid, Lord,”
He says, “Trust me with all your heart; lean not unto your own understanding.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.I have not given you a spirit of
Fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.Fear not little flock.
I am your Rock and your Fortress and your Deliverer.”
If you say, “I’m homeless, Lord,”
God says, “All of the houses and land are mine.I can even shelter you from the
storms of life in my Ark of Safety whose name is JESUS.Whatever you need,
I’ve got it.Remember, this world is not your home.
You’re just passing through on your way to be with me.
I am Adonai, your master.Believe that I am Jehovah, your eternally great, I Am.
