Can Roger Federer Attain a Grand Slam Title in 2011?

Roger Federer, the Swiss Maestro and 16-Grand Slam winner, can he attain or win a grand slam title this year in 2011 in any one of the Major Events in French Open, Wimbledon or U.S Open. Federer is still hungry for major success despite already winning enough Grand Slam events to span three or four illustrious careers.

It would be a tough job for the Swiss ace and the 16- time grand slam winner, to attain another famous Grand Slam win, as we have seen already this year; Novak Djokovic has been amazing against Federer and has already won a Grand Slam title, with the Australian Open earlier this year and on current form, it is going to take a super human effort to deny Nadal in a sixth French Open title as he is already showing a Marvelous performance on Clay with back to back title at Monte Carlo Master and 2011 Barcelona Open.

Roger Federer, the Swiss with 16-time Grand Slam has won only one Grand Slam title last year in 2010 with the Australian Open and was defeated in the Quarter finals of the Roland Garros against Robin Soderling and in the Wimbledon, he is well know as best natural grass court player on the circuit was defeated in Quarter finals by Tomas Berdych and in the Semifinals of the U.S Open he was thrashed out against Novak Djokovic in a thrilling encounter.

Federer rival Rafael Nadal has largely always held away over the Swiss on clay, proven by the Spaniard’s stranglehold on the French Open, he now assumes the favorites tag in almost every event including Wimbledon following his exceptional performances over Federer to claim two titles.

Although, it is wrong to assume that Roger Federer is on the decline, it is clearly manifest that the chasing pack has caught up in many respects with the Swiss ace. But can the unthinkable and unimaginable happen in 2011? Can he lift another Grand Slam Title this year?
