Transformers Dark of the Moon is the final film in the Transformers series. It´s directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. The movie will be released this summer 2011 in 3D. It´s the sequel to Transformers and Transformer Revenge of the Fallen. The first Transformers film was a great succes. I personally really loved like I think almost the rest of the world did. The second movies wasn´t a great succes. It had a lot of problems because of writers strike and rushed production.

In the next movie (Transformers Dark of the Moon) will have several things different than the other Transformer movies:

– The story won’t take place in the desert.
– No humor. It will be more serious and adult oriented
– Sentinel Prime will be the Big brother and mentor of Optimus Prime
– Sentinel Prime is “a big brother and mentor of Optimus Prime.”
– A Ferrari is a “Decepticon who Michael Bay is dubbing as ‘Dreadbox.’”

Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro are set to reprise their starring roles, with Peter Cullen returning as the voice of Optimus Prime. Ehren Kruger, who collaborated in the writing of the second film, was again involved in the writing. It was announced that Megan Fox would not be reprising her role from the previous two films. With Megan Fox’s character Mikaela being dropped, Sam was assigned a new love interest, who will be played by English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Also, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, having written the first two films, did not return for the third installment in the series.

The plot:

The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

I really advise everyone who liked the first Transformer films to go watch this one cause it’s going to be a great movie again with a lot of “Robo Action”
