Pastor Terry Jones burned a Koran and all hell broke loose. Terry Jones is a pastor and is supposed to represent Christianity. The burning of the Koran was a bad idea and it sparked deadly riots in Afghanistan. Islamic fanatic Muslims rioted and went on a killing spree. At least twenty-four people are dead, including seven U. N. workers; more than eighty people are wounded. Yes, Terry Jones is from Florida. Yes, Terry Jones is crazy for doing what he did.

September 2010, ” The Danish publish a religious cartoon satirizing the Muslim prophet Muhammad, the Muslims begin shouting about it, it becomes big news and gets published in even more publications, and the United States jumps in and stirs things up even more. What a crazy world…

The saga began on September 30, 2005 when a series of comics depicting the Islamic prophet Muhammad was published in the Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten. Immediately, Danish Muslim organizations publicly protested which, in our current day and time, made big news which further fueled the fire as newspapers all across Denmark began reprinting the cartoons.” (smashtheman.com)

“Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” (Acts 9:1-4)

The problem with radical Islam is there is no Jesus and they are without love. Radical Islam has an angry God who says you follow me or else you are dead. Radical Islam wants to take over the world, they will not accept defeat and if you insult them, they will kill you. Anger and hate are the two forces driving the modern day radical Islam religion towards Jihad.

Christian’s have been persecuted for thousands of years. Not being able to pray in school, being laughed at, made fun of is a moderate type of Christian persecution we find in the United States of America. In the past Christian’s were put to death, burned at stakes and hanged for their beliefs. God’s people (the Jews) have been persecuted for thousands of years. Many nations have tried to wipe them off the faces of the earth. Hitler and the German people killed millions of Jews because they were Jews.

Our own armed forces burned Bibles in Afghanistan to make radical Islam happy. On the other hand, if a crazy preacher from Florida burns a Koran, these same radical Islamic people kill innocent people in protest. It makes one wonder why it is more important to be a radical Islamic than a Christian. Face it; Christian’s have been persecuted from the moment Jesus Christ was nailed to the cross, after He rose from the dead and until today.

This brings us to the difference between Christianity and Islam, radical Islam. Christianity teaches homosexuality is wrong, radical Islamic fanatic Muslims Kill homosexuals, off with their heads. Do you really think same sex marriage would go over well in Afghanistan or any other Moslem country? Christianity teaches that adultery is wrong, radical Islamic fanatic Muslims kill adulterers, off with their heads. The differences between Christianity and radical Islam are surrounded by hate men and the love of Jesus.

Paul hated the new followers of Jesus because they didn’t follow the law. He persecuted and killed Christian’s. This was strange for a man who became one of the most important Apostles in the Bible. Before his conversion, Paul was just as evil and dangerous as any modern day radical Islamic fanatic Moslem. After his conversion, Paul preached the love of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. If he was with us today, Paul would teach the love of Jesus to radical Islamic fanatic Muslims.

The difference between Christianity and radical Islam is Jesus and His love. Without Jesus and His love, there would be no Christianity. Jesus died on the cross to save the world from their sins, yes, even for radical Islamic fanatic Muslims who want to kill everybody who are not like they are. Christians, we are followers of Jesus. We need to treat the world the same way Jesus would treat the world. We need to show His love.

Who do you want to come to your door? Do you want a Christian to come to your door and show you the love of Jesus? Or do you want a radical Islamic fanatic Muslim to come to your door with an automatic rifle in one arm and a Koran and a hatchet in the other arm. Remember, that radical Islamic fanatic Muslim will tell you to either convert or die, off with your head. A follower of Jesus will show you the love of Christ and teach you how to spend eternity in Heaven. If you do not covert, that is between you and God.

Pastor Terry Jones burned a Koran and all hell broke loose. Terry Jones is a pastor and is supposed to represent Christianity. At least twenty-four people are dead, including seven U. N. workers; more than eighty people are wounded. Yes, Terry Jones is from Florida. Yes, Terry Jones is crazy for doing what he did. As a Christian, if you want to burn my Bible, it would sadden me, but I would not kill you for your actions. Followers of Jesus have the love of Jesus from the Bible written in their minds, their hearts and their souls. The difference between Christianity and radical Islam is Jesus and His love. Without Him, we are nothing.
