Low Calorie Options at P.f. Chang's

P.F. Chang’s offers flavorful, Asian inspired food.  With many fish and vegetable choices, there are many low calorie options at P.F. Chang’s.  Along with calories, fat and sodium were also taken into account for these healthy choices. 


 The vegetarian lettuce wraps have 140 calories per every five-ounce serving. Each plate comes with about four servings. In addition, per serving, there are seven grams of fat and 530 mg of sodium. Another good option is the steamed vegetable dumplings. For every one-ounce serving there are forty-five calories, zero grams of fat and 80 mg of sodium. 


For some flavorful noodles, try the garlic noodles. These are egg noodles tossed with garlic and chili peppers. This has 178 calories per five ounce serving. There are four grams of fat and 360 mg of sodium. Each order comes with four servings. 


Budda’s feast is a “vegetable medley with five-spice tofu served steamed or stir-fried.” 
The steamed version of Budda’s feast on brown rice has 210 calories per nine ounce serving. Each entrée has about two servings. It also has two grams of fat. Another good choice is the Asian grilled salmon with brown rice. This has 320 calories per nine ounce serving. In addition, it has six grams of fat and 575 mg of sodium. For those who want meat, try the Chang’s spicy chicken. It’s not the healthiest on the menu, but not everyone wants to eat fish or vegetarian. This has 323 calories, 13 grams of fat and 550 mg of sodium. This nutritional information is based on every six-ounce serving. There are three servings in this dish.


PF Changs has mini desserts. The mini great wall is chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting, chocolate chips and raspberry sauce. It has 100 calories and four grams of fat. The mini apple pie has 150 calories and four grams of fat.

Things to Avoid

The crispy green beans have 260 calories for every four ounce serving and 18 grams of fat. The sauce that goes along with it has 310 calories and 32 grams of fat. While delicious, the crispy honey chicken is a real fat trap. Depending on the rice you get, it has between 655 and 680 calories and between 23 and 24 grams of fat. And that’s only for six ounces.
