Some say if its a Honda engine, it has got it all but that alone does not do the magic. Its the complete package and Honda is known for offering very high quality products, in the premium segment. Mostly Honda targets premium customers but what if they have to get into the mass market, say into a 110cc segment, which has been occupied by the old but still gold Hero Honda Splendor?
The CB Twister is Honda’s answer to the Hero Honda Splendor/Passion, Bajaj Pulsar 135 and the Suzuki Slingshot, but does Honda actually make the heart skip like its other offerings?
Well YES and No! Yes when it comes to the fantastic looks, refinement and overall quality of the bike. The 110cc Twister does lack enough ponies but you will be hard pressed to feel the same in city driving, where it feels amply loaded.
Being a Honda, the ride is smooth and the handling is spot on. Brakes are good but wider rubber would help matters a lot.
The overall look and feel of the bike is absolutely positive and that too for a bike which is intended for the mass market just shows that Honda does not compromise on its core values of quality, aesthetics and refinement. The lack of equipment like digital speedometer, tachometer, etc make a slight dent in the Twisters reputation but overall Honda has made one competitive offering which will set the sales chart on fire.
